Fantastic review Iriebride!

Jamaicabride09- She had conceriege service as that is when you get the in room bar! If your hubby to be is really picky about what Vodka I'd say to go with the butler service as you can request what brands you prefer. Sky Vodka was in the conceirge villas and Absolute was available- if you asked for it at the bars.

Thanks for the advice Jennifer! We have been going back and forth about the butler service...

At that point, my photographer arrived and started to take shots of me getting my make up done. After a break I looked in the mirror and couldnâ€t believe my eyes. She had rimmed my eyes with black liner and I looked like a frickin†raccoon! At that point, I told her that I would finish the makeup my self, packed up my make up and hightailed it out of there.

I totally hear you about the raccoon eyes. I had my make-up done at SGOR's spa as well and almost fell out of the chair when I saw myself for the first time! Luckily I had time before the ceremony to tone down my eyes AND lips.

My pleasure! I had heard that to have a room with Butler service added an average of 24-48 hours to your vacations time! Just all the little things that they can do for you from the seperate check in - unpacking- making reservations for activities- dinners-getting around the propery (especially at Sandals Grende Ocho Rios!) making sure eveything you wanted was in the room (beverges and so forth!), having an in room bar, and having room service! I bet at SGOR it saves a bit more time!

TA Jennifer is right. I had concierge service. In hindsight, I do wish that we had gotten the butler service. That way we would have had 24 room service and a personal shuttle service whenever we needed it! It definitely would have helped me on my wedding day! I could have had my butler retreive the wedding rings that I left and a host of other duties!

What a great review (sadly I never got around to one..lol)!!! You looked beautiful and it sounds like you had a wonderful time!. Wouldn't you do a DW 100 times over againhuh.gif I loved it and almost made me sad reading your review cause I want to do it again! BTW I was in the Rivera building and our room seemed like it had been recently updated. The room was large enough for us and the bathroom wasn't overly cramped. I loved our room. I loved waking up to the ocean view too. The first thing I did when I opened my eyes was open the blinds and look out into the beautiful blue water (well except when it was overcast the first couple of days!)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
