omg that is so sad.

ok sometimes ( a LOT of times) young girls "accidentally" get pregnant and it sucks, but it happens.

but to deliberately PLAN, as a group? to waste away your childhood/hs years on purpose? yes they may end up with a beautiful baby they wouldnt trade for the world. but most of them will also still have that inconsolable lonliness that they thought they had in the first place, only way way worse because now they are stuck alone at home caring for an infant instead of out running around to the mall and parties with their buddies.

so sad.

This part was really disturbing to me. I hope she at least knew the guy. I hope it wasn't one of those desperate moves to fulfill her end of the pact so she slept with some random homeless dude.

"But even if we had contraceptives, that pact shows that if they wanted to get pregnant, they will get pregnant. Whether we distribute contraceptives is irrelevant," said Verga.
You would think at this point parent's would be all about educating their students on safe sex and providing contraceptives. Just pretending it's going to go away will not work. How about assigning all these girls one of those damn robotic crying babies. I bet that would help shape them up really quick.

IMO- these girls have no idea what they are in for. I think the school should start dishing out some reality. A baby doesn't fix things. It's going to be a very hard road for them. I know people have babies this young, but they didn't CHOOSE it- at least I'm sure most don't.

nothing news in the UK. We frequently hear young teenages wanting babies to get council houses.

* please note I'm not saying all young teenage mums do this. I know quite a few friends who struggled to get anything from the council or have pride that they have never relied on hand outs

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
