Thanks Rachelle, I still need to fine tune the coloring, I see some yellow under his chin, and his face has a few red spots, so I need fix that too. Oh well, I know I have a ways to go but it's fun trying. :-)

Thanks, I have a Sony Alpha DSLR, I've had the camera for a year now but I'm already thinking about upgrading it to their 700, but that won't be anytime soon since it's pretty expensive, and l just having fun right now, that camera is for the pro's.

I love what you've done to both photos! I saw your siggy this morning and was going to PM you to comment on how awesome it looks!

The first one you did is also really good. For being an amateur in photoshop and being self taught you are doing damn good! How did you get the kind of blackish border around the photos? I really like that effect.

THanks, Yeah I really need to get my lazy butt in gear and start taking some actual classes.

The border is called Vignette (? spelling) and I just adjusted the strength and thickness to it.

Oh! I thought it was the lens you had, cool. It really adds to it, gives it that professional touch IMO.

If you're interested in a good online course Matt, from Gwyne & Matt photography recommended Photography Classes Online: Have a photography pro at your side - online, all the time! I may take a class but they're pretty pricey IMO. There are no local classes in my area he told me so I have to rely on online if I want to learn more.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
