As most of you know, my DH and I volunteer with a Boston Terrier rescue group. We (the rescue) just received a puppy, 5 week old little girl weighing only 2.2 pounds, her name is Beate' (be-ah-ta). This little girl has no anal hole to go potty, yesterday afternoon her health started declining so her foster home made an emergency run to Fort Wayne IN with her to the vet. (over 274 miles away) The surgery is expected to be around $2,500.00-$3,000.00 and is necessary in order for her to live a normal life. Since the rescue organization runs solely on donations, they are in need of some support. If you can spare some change and would like to donate to her, below is the rescue groups homepage. In the lower left side of the main screen you'll see "Donate" that will guide you through the process. If your unable to help financially please say a pray that she makes it thought the surgery and finds a forever home.

**Be sure to note you are donating for Beate' (be-ah-ta), list your name then (BDW forum)

Thanks in advance for your support.

awwwwww, God bless her little heart, Tammy.

We've spent over $2,500 on vet care ourselves since April, so I hope even little donations will still help. Going to the site to donate in memory of my 3-year old baby boy, Kookie (hope that's okay) -- we lost him yesterday afternoon to lymphoma and are completely heartbroken.

Lots and lots of prayers and hugs for this little girl.

OMG I'm sooo sorry for your loss. I have a friend that lost her dog about 6 months ago for that very same reason. My heart goes out to you.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
