I was super cranky at work today after returning from a couple days off, I took my gym bag to work with me, but on the subway ride after work I contemplated going home and putting on sweats and being lazy... and then I remembered that feeling... and I went to straight to the gym, hit the elliptical and then a body pump class. I love this feeling!
Wow...oh my god! you go girl!!! you must be absolutely, totally ecstatic! I hate making myself do a workout and really struggle, but then I think oh I'll just get changed, and then when I'm changed I think i might as well do it now! and having that fit feeling when you've finished makes it all worth it!

Hi Ladies

Just confirmed with Azul Sensatori for December 3rd, 2010 ....i was excited until i saw that it is an extra 1700 buxs just to use the sky terrace!!!! offering amenities that i dont need ....towels fans ?!!!?! ...that just annoys me a bit sad.gif but hopefully we can work something out with the WC other than that i love the resort ..and still think the package is better $$ than most of the other resorts ive research :)

Hola! Anyone using the Lomas DJ - Tiffany sent me the link to their song list today:

http://weddings.lomas-travel.com/pla...music_list.pdf

If I remember correctly, I think Amy F said that the DJ had a lot more music than just this list.

I am still not sold on my first dance song. Maybe I'll make FI be in charge of that. I just can't find one that I love and fits the mood in mexico.

Congrats and welcome!

I think Karisma is expensive - but I have looked on other threads and resorts on this forum and it seems like everyone is nickled and dimed by their hotels.

Definitely ask to make your own packages and keep your eyes peeled to their website for any wedding deals. I changed to the "free wedding" once they offered it on Azul Beach (property down the street from AS where I am getting married).

Congrats!!

Yeah, they used to have a rule where you had to book the Silver Package to even be allowed to book the Sky Deck, so you might want to check into that as well. The downside with AS is that there are lots of hidden costs that they won't bend on, just be aware of that!

You are correct Amy, we used one of their dj's, because I was told I didn't have any other choice. . I had a great expirence. And yes, When I got to mexico they had a whole lists of music tiffany doesn't even know about called top 40 LOL. And Im not sure how it normally works, but we had requested two songs they didn't have, and the dj and wc just downloaded it from itunes right then and there and "they" paid for it<---- yes you read that right. haha (WOW)rockon.gif

yes i will definitely keep my eyes posted but trust me ...no one else (as far as i know) is offering 14 dollar meals lol i was going to go with dreams but with a cocktail and reception for 50 plus guest it wouldve cost me $92 per person with AS $14 reception pp and $20 pp cocktail i was sold AND A 20% DISCOUNT on private events and our rates ... on top of the fact that the resort looks beautiful though as you said they do nickel and dime you with every little thing i have yet to find a resort that didnt ...so for larger parties this seems to be the best bet

I too was told I could bring my own DJ for the $500 outside vendor fee so that's what I'm doing!

did she give you cost in regards to the rental of equipment your dj might have to use?

    • Thanks for your good list.  I also love Marry Me and I'm Yours.
    • I haven’t seen any recent info on wedding at the Now Amber PV. Has anyone had their wedding there recently? Any feedback etc. My daughter booked her wedding for 5/15/20 so any info would be greatly appreciated.
    • Good list! I bet it got folks moving!
    • Hey fellow wedding planners. When me and my wife planned our wedding I started making playlists both for the reception and for the dance floor.  I wanted it to be more towards indie and alternative music and since I started sharing the playlists on Facebook and other social media I got so much appreciation I wanted to make them available to others planning their wedding. For the reception Will you marry me? Let's play this at our wedding - INDIE / FOLK / ALTERNATIVE For the dance floor I Bet You Look Good On The Dance Floor - Indie Party Anthems I also have a few other playlists that might be of interest for playing at a wedding It's all about JAZZ Fabulous Fingerpicking Folk (Bob Dylan, Simon & Garfunkle, Bright Eyes, Iron & Wine, Beatles etc) 88 Keys Of Magic - Contemporary Piano - Jazz / Neo Classical and More Fingers, Wood, Nylon and Steel - Contemporary Acoustic Guitar Instrumental Chill Out Gems Hope it can be of help or maybe just inspiration for your own wedding playlist! Let me know what you think!   Flag  Quote  Agree  Like
