Good luck to all of the brides getting married this month!

Have any previous brides gotten married at Azul Sensatori in the month of October? If so, how was the weather like?

@@Aliyedwinramirez I remember one of the brides that married in October only mentioned the mugginess for the wedding festivities but didn't seem to bother anyone while at the pools.

It's suppose to be an El Niño year so maybe there will be less rain this year since that's closer to the end of the hurricane season.

Based on average temps may is most similar so maybe some of the may brides could comment on how the weather was for their weddings this year.

I'm getting married two weeks after you so I'm optimistic this dry El Niño year continues????

I'm getting married in a week and I've always preached that you should not look at weather and stress but I'm doing the opposite! Shows 80% chance of rain and thunderstorms. I really hope it changes :(

Also - how is wifi there?

LaurenR, wifi is great in the blgs. The weather is perfect right now. The backups (in case of rain) are beautiful. We even changed from Plava Zavas to Zocalo ? It has swinging beds and chairs and it more intimate. It was the backup in case of rain. Where is your ceremony? Where is reception?

Becomingariggio our ceremony is on sky deck and reception as plaza zavas. Your now having the reception at zocalo? What/where is that? You switched onsite?

Also - did you have your onsite meeting the morning after you arrived?

So what is the seaweed situation right now? I saw a picture from a local aquaintance and it looked BAD. They said it was horrible and smelly and that they felt bad for the weddings taking place on the beach.

Is their sound system compatible with iphone6?

TIA!!

@@LaurenR the plaza zocalo is behind the Mexican restaurant. As you go down the main stair case into the resort the hut is the plaza zocalo. It has the coke machines and ice cream machines.

@@jaden1976 for zavas you need 6 strands of 24-25ft. Katy I believe has those in 24foot which will work

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
