@@carrieandsam Those are great ideas, if you chose the napkin colors do you have to bring them or they will rent them to you?

I looked at the websites you provided me thanks!, I am sure once you go you will have much more clarity of what you want, unless you are like me who wants it ...

I will do a runner and white napkins...my thing now is that my sashes are coral organza and I dont know if I should do my runner organza or Satin aqua blue..I do not want the mix the fabrics and make it look weird. what you do suggest?

@@linaco80 if I do overlays the material on the overlay and color will match the bows. Matching the materials I think just gives it a clean look plus that is what I have seen. If I just go with the runner I will make sure to match the runner material to the materials of the bows. So I would suggest matching the material of the runner and the sashes, it just gives a clean and connected look for a wedding:)

@@carrieandsam Thank you Carrie, I agree with the overlay :) I definitely wont take that option because I want the white more, as far as the runner I saw one in satin aqua blue and the chairs organza (coral), the aqua blue organza did not look as nice I guess because of the material...my colors are just hard to find. I know mixing colors might sound weird but I have seen it and looks nice...also I can have the option of the same color or mix colors. Thank you so much, I truly value your help :)

This is the table runner I am liking right now. Hopefully I can get a sample. Found it at bbjlinen.com. I think someone from the official EDR thread used this company too. @@AllieH by chance can you remember who used the vendor.

Some of their stuff such has full table cloths are less expensive.

@@linaco80 I was thinking about using this company for napkins if lomas charges way more. Bbj charges around 1.50 or so for different color napkins.

Your welcome @@linaco80

My top choice is to use the above runner a yellow overlay in lamour or organza and matching bows. If I do this I'll just use the white napkins provided. With this runner I really wouldn't need much for centerpieces just the candle holder lomas has I like. Would consider floating tea lights in addition that I really like.

Below are the candle holders I am considering.

@@BecomingaRiggio at the BDR Antonio from the weddings department told us they can make reservations for LeChique for up to eight people if requested by the bride and groom. Otherwise it is a maximum of four, and adults only.  Hope that is helpful!

@@raqpena we are doing the same thing for our cocktail hour. We are suggesting our guests gather at Cantina Zocaloco for coctails, unless rains-in that case we will suggest the Zavas Lounge.

We didn't want to pay extra for another private event, as we figure some of our guests with small children will want to use that time for naps, clean up, etc.

@@carrieandsam I like both of your candle holders! Are you using real candles or LEDs? If they are real maybe the first one would work better if your reception is outdoors to protect the flames from drafts/wind.

Have any couples been offered upgrades on site for some of their guests? Our wedding is in June and I've heard some people get extra upgraded rooms they can allocate to people of their choice (parents, etc).

Thanks! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
