Well, IMO, it was worth going over budget. They're really nice!

HI I specifically remember talking with Cecile about this and made sure I saved the email. BUt I was told that as long as you are having a private event the day passes were free. You may want to talk with you WC about this
I hadn't heard of this, but if anyone finds out, can you update us?!

I mean I'm sure its going to be beautiful and better once the renovations are complete but unfortunately for us they won't be done by October. And we just can't take the risk that all of our guests won't be at the same resort, so we had to cancel. The frustrating part about it all is that we had asked them before we booked if there were going to be any off-season construction going on and they completely down played it, telling us/our TA there would only be 10-15 rooms closed for interior renovations. It was only when we couldn't get two extra rooms that we realized the extent of their renovations. I also hear that they own the Hidden beach resort next door to AB and that that resort is completely closed for renovations as well. I just hope that other brides get informed about it, its really unfortunate.
I'm sorry you had to cancel everything.
Hey girls. Have any of you ever inquired with your WC why the Lomas website shows Caribe and Royale are the approved photographers, while the Azul website shows Caribe and Matias?
I noticed this too but was told it was only Caribe and Matias that we could choose from. Never really got an explanation although I did inquire.

I need help... what are you guys doing for the guest book? I've been the post card, thumb print tree, book, etc... I am really torn between just not having anything to something creative and fun. initially I wanted to have a photo book...always wanted to have the actual photo booth for that's not going to happen. I got less than a month to finish up last minute stuff and I have not decided on what to do. Any suggestions? Am I over-thinking this?
I gave this task to my MOH and she found a place that does custom books and you can customize the pages. I didn't want a book where people just sign their names. I wanted something where people could write out messages/advice. Here's the site
Hey chong!! Ryan had a guest book made of our engagement pictures. If you are interested, lemme know, and i will get you the company's name that he used. It turned out gorgeous! My other thought was to have a little photo booth set up. Just get a cute polaroid camera and have people take pics of themselves and write a little note. You could do a video guest book as well. I also did the postcard thing. I put an addressed postcard in the oot bags and had everyone write a note and mail it back to us. However, out of 50 people, I've only gotten 3 back. Hope this helps!
That Ryan! Always has good ideas!
