Amy - lets see the shoes - do you have a picture?!?

Yeah - just popped out at lunch and took those pictures. I wanted to make sure the park looked nice. There was someone there mowing the grass which was good to know the nice wont be there tomorrow.

Lolo, are you having a DJ? They probably know what songs to pick for things like the cake cutting too if you don't want to specify.

Here are the 2 locations - the Registry General is out b/c they close at 12pm and Mark gets in at 11:30am, so it doesn't work out. Tomorrow is going to be just about us. We have our neighbors who have been married 33 years as our witnesses, and the Pastor.

I have always loved this Park in Bermuda, it was across the street from the first house mark and I first lived in. I am super excited!

Location #1 below is in an inlet in case its too windy for up by location #2.

Wow! What an nice park with an amazing view. If you moved away from there, I hoping your view now is even better! All the best to you both tomorrow!

As I mentioned a while back I am going to the Azul in March to check it out...but have been reading on Trip Advisor that there are 2-3 weddings a day!

I am not sure how much I like that...what has everyone else's experiences/thoughts been with this?

AS does max 2 a day. There was another one on my wedding day and I didn't even see those people. And we were wandering all over after dinner since I didn't do a private event. Never bumped into them! THe only thing that sucks is the ceremony site locations when there's more than one a day. For example, it was raining on my wedding day and my beach ceremony got cancelled. The other wedding took the ballroom which meant they were trying to stick me in the hallway (the other indoor option). Luckily my photog saved me from that.

For realhuh.gif

I was told that I could definitely have one and the onsite coordinators are responsible for setting that up.

I've seen pictures from MANY AS weddings that had rehersals.

Even if they said no, I'd just walk up to the Sky Deck and do it anyways :)

Really? I wasn't given the option of a rehearsal. I wasn't too worried about it because our party was so small and all of the details were recorded during our meeting, but OMG if I would have known how unorganized they were going to be I would have done a freakin rehearsal lol.

AB doesn't officially do rehearsals. You can put in a request for one through Tiffany but it's up to the WC once you get there whether or not you'll actually have one.

We originally put in a request for on but scrapped it. Since my brother is officiating our wedding, we figured we didn't need to bother the resort with an official rehearsal. We WILL have one, just on our own with no one from the resort involved.

If I were using their officiant, I would DEFINITELY request one! I would want to meet the person beforehand, make sure they knew our names (I've heard stories...), what they were going to say when, etc.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
