Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

I'm sure most of you are probably busy with Turkey Day plans, working or out of town but I just wanted to let you know that Friday is our update day for our to do's.

For those of you out of town feel free to update us on what you got done on the list and what you'd like to add to the list for your next two weeks of to do's.

I really hope this has been helpful to you ladies! I know it has been helpful to me, it really helped me focus on what needed to get done this week and I got additional stuff done so I actually feel extra productive :)

My original goal for my wedding was to have everything essentially "done" this year. I'd like to relax a little next year, LOL, yeah right.

I'm working today, cooking tomorrow (and seeing New Moon!!) and "working" Friday... aka Black Friday online shopping :)

What are your ladies plans?

Also, what is AS's policy about guests staying on other resorts? Can the makeup artist not be a "bridesmaid" or a "groomsman" and you just pay the day pass? I honestly do not see how they would even know. If you do not want to leave the resort on your wedding day, I would just do this. How do they know your "maid of honor" isn't a makeup genius? wink.gif
I was thinking the same thing but I didn't say anything since they said the people from AS read this post, but I don't see why that idea wouldn't work.

CV Imports is the website I found for the sashes.

I think when someone walks through the front door you have to check in or show room key? They charge $100 day pass, which is alot in my opinion to pay on TOP of what make-up artist will charge? Playa de carmen is closer and I may just make a trip out in the morning and just touch myself up later that day.....

I have been to the Mac outlet in Playa del Carmen and it is really nice and quiet there. It is in another shop, but the whole top floor is just for MAC. Just in case people were worried about what it would be like!

Sorry I just have to give a comparison here...our decorated chairs are all free with our package, and the bows are just $2 per chair...

In fact the only thing extra we are having to pay for is one extra person and a vendor fee for our photographer (which is only $250 as well in comparison to AS's $500). The package cost includes everything - flowers, cocktails, open private bar for 3 hours, reception dinner, music, DJ for 3 hours etc etc...and is $1200 cheaper than the most expensive package at AS (the gold package).

Just my input...but I know everyone who gets married at AS does have an amazing wedding and it's all worth it in the end!

Would love suggestions.

Hi Andrea,

Sorry I'm a bit behind on the thread this week - It's been totally manic! but here is a link to another cheap wedding dress website - Designer Wedding Dresses and Custom Wedding Dresses by LightInTheBox

There have been reviews on here about it and they have been good, and it will probably be where I get my TTD from.

Happy searching!!

Hey ladies I hope all had a great Thanksgiving. The holidays have arrived and now in full force. Its gonna get crazy. I got up at 4am went shopping, took a nap and now at work till noon. Me and the Fi are going to get out and shop a little more this afternoon. Of course its mostly for us. Hey a girl can't deny a good shoe sale.

I went back to my list and see what I got accomplished and the result is 2 out of 3. I did however get a good chunk of things done that weren't on the list. I feel like I'm making progress! bunny_4.gif

Things that are done since 11/13:

- Thank you's for shower

- Remaining details for wedding ceremony

- Started getting stuff for OOT bags

- AH reception invites ordered, proofed and paid for.

- Ordered engagement pics for grandparents

- Shoes are in and picked up.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
