This will be my 3rd coordinator now and getting a little worried about the turn over there.

What do you girls think?
I've had Jo'Zeen who was TERRIBLE, then Grace who I loved and now Kiara.

The panic-bride in me emailed her right away to confirm that Grace's recent requests and reservations were'nt lost in translation and she promptly got back to me and assured me all was well.

I feel good about her :)

What do people think of these pics?? I'm not too sure about them, but can't put my finger on why...

Are these the only approved photographers for AS?? if not, who are the other ones? and does anybody have a link for egs of their photography?

Thanks :o)

Katie.

Hi Katie!

Ok so I met my photographer through my friend you got married last year and highly recommended him. He's traveling and attending my wedding as a guest and staying there and enjoying himself so I don't have to pay for his trip!

He's doing an engagement shoot for me next month and then my wedding day and a TTD the day after, he's wonderful to email with and just a cool guy.

Do you want to see his stuff? Since he will already be there maybe he can photograph your wedding since it's the day before mine!

Let me know and I'm PM you his website

Amy

Any thoughts -- would it look stupid to have the legs and inside with fabric and not the top. Would it look good to drap the whole thing, including the top. Would it look nice to drap only the legs? Other ideas?
Hi Anon,

I think those are great ideas! I love the draping inside, with some lights up there it woud look gorgeous! You might want to keep it open on the sides so everyone around at tables can see in or just wrap it tightly around the beams.

I think the pictures also look kind of boring and less creative than some other photographers.

Laura,

I have the PDF document with all of the different menu options, but I dont know how to upload files on here....Can anyone help me with how to do it?

Does anyone have Tiffany as a wedding coordinator? She replaced Grace for me. It seems concerning that there is such a high turnover rate!

Hey Anon,
I think it would look kind of silly to have just the legs inside with fabric and not the top. I think having everything draped would look quite pretty. I think if you drape the legs, you need to drape the top.

It's a good question - amazing how in a school of 50,000, it can be a very small world when it comes to knowing people. I graduated in '96, though, so your little brother is a bit younger than me. wink.gif My little brother also went to IU, but he graduated in '08.

Hey Meghan, I have Tiffany as a coordinator too. I'm not worried about the turnover because if you read the review from every bride at AS they all say that as unsure as they were before they got there, everything turned out. Its the onsite coordinators that are important.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
