Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

No actually I got Marion. I wonder if the Miami coordinators are no longer going to be in use. And from now on everyone who books at a Karissa hotel will deal with a Onside coordinator. That would be the best thing they could do for sure.

I just got an email today about being switched to an onsite wedding coordinator as well. Christine was my Miami coordinator and I got switched to Paula onsite. Wedding isn't until November

That's awesome you all are being switched over to the onsite coordinators. I always got the most info from them plus it's way more helpful to work with someone that is actually there.

  • 3 weeks later...

Hi All,  I'm getting married in December. They have assigned me Lopita. I got the email two weeks back and I have not heard anything. :( UGH. I do have a wedding planner that is helping me follow up though. I'll let you know if I hear anything back.

I don't know if you ladies are having the same experience or not but I really wish I had been able to stay with my Miami coordinator. My onsite coordinator is pleasant but misses emails and makes a ton of mistakes. I can only imagine how tricky it is on there end and really, it would have been easier of the coordinators if they hadn't switched us - especially this late into planning.

Hey ladies

Just FYI -- I got switched to a on-site coordinator about a month ago and haven't heard anything from her since then despite sending multiple emails. I got sick of waiting for a reply, so I called the Miami office to see how I can get in touch with the onsite coordinator. She said that the onsite coordinators are trying to catch up and get in touch with the June/July/August brides right now, so there might be a little bit of a wait for weddings that are after that. However, she also said that she would directly contact my onsite coordinator and let her know that I have a few questions. I got an email right away from the onsite coordinator! If you are having trouble getting in touch, a direct phone call to the Miami office helps!!

Just curious, who is your coordinator?

Thanks! My experience so far is that it took ~2 weeks to hear back after the switch. My wedding is Jun 16. I called, emailed, asked my TA for help. I heard back from Lupita. She was able to pick up where we left off, but now the communication is about 1/week. It seems best to group all the questions and lay it out very binary for them! Also pictures seem to be appreciated

Maybe I can ask past brides some of my questions- might be faster

1. Chair covers or no chair covers. Getting married on the beach at 3. Reception starts at 6. It will be hot! Not sure which will be less "sticky"

2. Are the "free" happy hours worth it? They preface everything with "hotel chooses drink and food". So I don't really know what that means

3. Has anyone used babysitting services. I will have my 1 yr old with me and wasn't sure if it is safe

Thanks ladies

Amy

1: no chair covers could be nice and cool just depends on the look you are going for.

2: if they are giving you a free happy hour go for it. I had one and they said select drinks and food and everyone loved it. It means they pick out the beverages and have passed apps.

3: babysitting services are just as safe as they are in the states. My husbands brother and wife had s one year old and they left them with the babysitter all the time.

So, I finally here back from the wedding coordinator after 3  weeks and it's not even the one that was assigned to me from the resort. It was still the Miami coordinator. Also, she only answered a few of my questions and not all the ones I had sent in my last email. Now, I'm probably going to have to wait another 3 weeks for her to respond to my last email. UGH!!!!!

Hi!!  I'm getting married at Azul Sensatori 1/21/17! I was trying to set up a welcome party and a happy hour with apps and drinks like you mentioned sounds perfect but they haven't told me anything about that. Is that something that's an option at azul sensatori? How do I go about getting one? Thank you and congrats to you all!  :))

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
