For brides getting married on the beach, do you plan to wear heals, sandals or go barefoot. I remember someone saying the sand was compact. I would like to wear heels for the reception (I'm 5'1) and I am wondering how I should alter my dress if I plan to change from flats to heels.  Any advice?

Thanks

I wore heels on the beach. I don't think it's an issue. There will be the wooden aisle runner and then as long as you don't stand with all your weight on your heels, you will be fine. Only thing might be getting sand in your shoes LOL. How tall are the heels you plan on wearing? If they are 3" or less, I think you could just drag the dress a little for the ceremony and then change into heels if you want to go that way.

Hi Ladies,

Wondering if anyone can tell me how much it cost to have Azul Sensatori steam your gown?

Thanks for the info!

Thanks, not sure of heel height.  I want some height but want to be comfortable.  I like the idea of the wedge.

@cocosho I had them steam mine and they didn't charge me anything!

@lolita2014 I was so terrified to wear heels while walking down the ramp onto the beach... It was so slippery! I just wore flip flops and changed into my kitten heels afterwards.

Here is the laundry price list from the Azul. The prices are in Pesos (not dollars). The price for having a wedding gown "pressed" is 180 pesos....so about $18US. There is no price listed for steaming.
