I wouldn't worry much about the weather especially in Cancun. They have great weather the majority of the year. Typically with tropical destinations the weather forecast says that there are chances of storms every day - that's pretty normal. If anything, there may be showers lasting for 15-20 minutes on any given day and then it clears up and it's beautiful out! :)

Hi everyone! First time poster, long time reader :)

 

We just put our deposit down to secure June 21, 2014 for our wedding date.

 

We are in the process of getting our group contract for the hotel rate secured, but i'm not sure if we should get the contract for 3 nights or 4. What did y''all do yours for? I'm stressing out about making the right decision!!

 

Worst case scenario would be that we get a 4 night group rate but then everyone stays for 3 and we have to pay some penalty, or people want to stay for 4 and can't. any advice?!?!

 

My financee's brother got married at Azul Fives a couple years ago, and they said most people stayed for 3 nights, but they are younger so their friends might have been looking at it differently than our 30 something friends who might want a longer vacation away from their babies. :)

I love them... I used Rebecca too. I just love her and her work!! We got boarding passes as our Save the Dates and our Passports for booked guests just arrived last Friday too. I LOVE THEM. The funny thing is you have the Exact same design as me but different colors... I'll post some pictures of items we got from her.

Hello Brides! We just confirmed our wedding date so I figured I could finally post on this thread! May 8th, 2014. Would anyone have any idea what time the sun sets in May? We were hoping to have a 2 hour Beach cocktail hour and photo's after our ceremony which is at 5pm. I dont want it to be too dark for photos! Also I would love to know, for anyone who has experienced a Sky Wedding, legal ceremony- how long did you actually spend up on the terrace? Just trying to figure out how long it would take to actually get our cocktail hour started! THANK YOU in advance for any replies!

I just got back from my wedding at Azul Sensatori last week (review coming up soon) and we used Mega DJ which is a DJ approved through the resort.  We added an MC to the package and they were great.  We had a list of songs that we asked them to play which they stuck to. Can't recommend them enough!

Lil Pumpkin - that is too funny we got the same design! Yours look beautiful. I was also thinking about getting my 'welcome bag' supplies from her too - I love your chap stick and tissues. Everything coordinates so great together I absolutely love it!!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
