Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Hi Jenny,

I'm new to this blog.  Thinking about doing my wedding at Azul Sensatori.  I have the contract in hand, but just waiting to get my last few questions answered before commiting.  You mentioned you are using Shenko as your photographer.  Could you repost the link to her work/pricing?  I don't see it.  Thanks so much!

Hi Ladies

I am packing my wedding supplies for my upcoming wedding and realized I purchased way too many lights for the wedding. I have 12 extra sets of multicolored icicle lights on white wire for sale. I figured I would offer to yall first before posting on the classifieds thread. I purchased them for $20 a set originally but willing to sell for$15 a set +shipping. They are still in their boxes and never have been used. Let me know if there are any takers.

Thanks for the info Jenny! I am also using DJ Doremixx and Dean Sanderson for photography. Just to clarify you don't think they can check into the resort before the day of the wedding? The day of the wedding I should have the DJ check in? Hope this works booking them a room!

Hi Gina,

I was sure to ask my WC about any scenario possible and all is fine as long as they're booked as a guest at the hotel for at least 3 nights. I specifically asked even if I book aroom for them 3 nights, Th-Sun, is it OK if they only show up day of wedding [sat] and check in? She said it  was OK should be no problems! =)

I need to vent here...

I just found out today that my fiance's aunt is coming to the wedding on our actual wedding day. That's great and all, but she wanted to keep it a secret from us so we don't have an OOT bag for her! I leave on the 10th so there's no way I can whip one up for her in time. I feel really bad because I want her to have one. She's the kind of person who will be pissed if she's left out.  And now we have to order 2 extra chairs at the wedding and bows etc. because we weren't planning on her and her boyfriend coming.

The only reason I know about it now is because sunwing cancelled her original flight. We are having so many issues with Sunwing.

Hello Future Brides,

I am new to this site. I have been reading reviews for the past month and finally joined.  I have narrowed down the location to our wedding to Azul Sensatori and Dreams Riviera. We are going there next month for the "rehearsal weekend" Going to check out both locations and make a decision.  If there is any questions anyone has or thngs you want me to take pics of let me know. I will be happy to come back with a full a detailed report.  Is there anyone else going nect month? We are looking at a 2013 labor day weekend wedding. This site has been very helpful and I have gotten great ideas.  I am so excited!!!!!!!

We are actually having a secret wedding in Vegas NYE.  I have been reading all the requirements for a legal wedding in Mexico and decided i didnt want to go thru all of that. We also didnt want the ceremony to be in Spanish even with the translator. This works out for us anyway bc i can use the Vegas wedding dress for my TTD!

Well, if she wants it to be a surprise....be surprised. When she doesn't get an OOT bag-apologize, but explain you didn't know she was coming and it was all arranged ahead of time. I would however take a package of "Thank you" cards with you (we took a box of 10 with us)- that way you can write a quick personalized thank you for showing up and 'surprising' you.(after you've been surprised!) Plus I think she wants to be a bit of a 'star', make sure you tell her what a wonderful and unexpected surprise and you're thrilled she made it. Leave it at that and don't stress yourself out!

Plus don't worry about the extra chair/stuff- the WCs are professionals and will deal with this for you!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
