Let the 30 day countdown commence!

Fiance's Bachelor party is this weekend in Atlantic City, bought him a huge bottle of Grey Goose as a surprise :)

We are doing out court ceremony on August 18th, doing a confidential license do no one knows except for us!

My bachelorette party in in 3 weeks in Vegas... totally excited! Everything is coming together so fast, but I am over the moon with joy!!

    XOXO

OK....I am going to do the same...will tell her whats happening and thats that, right?

    :)

I guess I should order them soon....how many should I order?

Your the best....thanks so much for all your help!

We used one of the Set Menu options. You have to choose the appetizer and dessert, then you choose 2 mains....but your guests have to make the choice 2 weeks prior to the wedding. So I sent out menu options cards with an RSVP date on it, and included a note on the bottom, that if they did not respond they would automatically get choice A. (we offered a pork dish and mahi-mahi). And don't let the WC tell you otherwise...mine was also giving me grieve, but I just told her this is how is would be done! LOL

Also I will message you later , and we'll talk dinner date! :) I ordered all the LED's and batteries from dealextreme.com Took about 2-3 weeks for it to arrive, so I should order them now to allow some time for the delivery. It was the cheapest spot we found that deliveried to Canada.

    Quote:

We had a group rate for our guests, and it was for one week. We did pay for his trip (flight and hotel), but it was an all inclusive package...so a little different coming from Canada than the UK. It might be a lot more for you to bring a local photographer from the UK, since I would expect you would have pay for the flight and hotel. But perhaps look into a photographer to share with other brides that will be there the same time. You might find that if you can share the expense it becomes worthwhile. (especailly if the other brides are coming from Canada or the US, the flights will be cheaper)

Another sky deck wedding! Yay, I thought I was the only one! How are you doing your sheers? I've seen them done so many different ways. I'm not doing the big flower arrangements, just a bouquet on the sand ceremony table and then 4 pomanders.

This way you know they will work and be great for Zavas plaza, I will show you pictures of what ours looks like when we get married.

I'm off to my bachelorette party in Vegas this weekend, yeah! It's also my birthday on Friday, the big 2-9 ;).

We've got 11 girls and 3 suites at the signature suites at MGM. We're getting there early on Fri for some pool time, going out to Marquee Friday night, pool day Saturday and then the show "Absinthe" on Saturday night. I can't wait, it should be a blast! I'll post a couple pics when I get back!!!!! This is the first official wedding "event" - it's getting to be so real!!!

HI Ladies!! For those of you who are getting married on the SKY deck....do they allow colored sheers up there??? One of the package things my WC sent said they do not do colored sheers up there, but I have seen plenty of wedding pics (on here too) with them.  Thanks ladies!!!

They do, they're just a little more expensive. $100 per white, $150 per color. I have 2 on my detail sheet (one white, one gray) but I'm not 100% confirmed on it...

Any past Zavas Plaza brides have a diagram of the area to plot where DJ goes, cake table, head table, etc? I've asked my WC but you know how that goes...we're also having our cocktail hour right around there so I want to see how that flows as well...thanks!

I am sure you can have colored sheets. But they do cost more.

I am doing the sheers criss crossed across the top, just ivory and I'm doing 2 pink lilies hanging corsage. We are then going to use those as centerpieces for the cake table and the sweetheart table. My mom is adding gold beading to the sheer's, so they are going to look beautiful I can't wait.

I just got the rope lighting in yesterday and they look awesome, there going to be easy to travel with also! Ya, I ordered the 12" rope lighting - they just told me the poles were right under 10"
