I was wondering that myself...My arrival date is set for November 15th so it's a bit difficult to make arrangements for some. Have you been able to get a rate for that far in advance from your TA? Is it using a tour company? I'm in Canada and our tour company that sells Sensatori says they probably won't have their hotel contracts/rates for November and onwards until June!

Usually you can get better rates from your TA if you are booking a package including your flights. What I've been doing is basing my "approximate" rates on the rates in late October until I get the real rates.

Maybe they're waiting to get a better handle on the economy, the resort, and demand?

I am leaving in late November as well, and one of the travel agents told me Nov is considered the next winter rate and probably won't be available till spring time.

so...i regards to the Mexican photo, I realized that they are listed on Lomos' site but not Azul's. I am almost positive they are still okay. I think Azul has not updated their site yet.

I am trying to pick my reception area and don't want it on the beach but can't tell from the pictures how the other locations are.

Has anyone had their reception on the Zocalo terrace? I like the thought of this area being a bit more private perhaps but I don't see where people could dance and DJ set up etc.... any ideas or pictures would be great. Thanks.

Has anyone decided on music for the ceremony? I am trying to figure out what to have the bridesmaids and myself walk down to? Has anyone heard of how the violinist or other musicians are? I spent 2 hours trying to figure out songs and got nowhere!

It sounds bizarre that rates for November wouldn't be available until March/April, but, if it translates to lower occupancy, that's fine with me!

I'm deciding between Somewhere over the Rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole and You're So Cool from True Romance, but leaning towards You're So Cool.

It's tough to choose! I'm still debating what song to have during th license signing, and the recessional, but I have a few to run by my FI (however I have final decision making power!).

                    Hi everyone!

My FI and I are interested in the Azul Sensatori. I've read ALL the posts and have come across so many great things, but also came across many concerns. I've come to a conclusion, seems to me that things are improving and getting better everyday. It's nice to hear from brides who have come home from their weddings and had wonderful wedding experiences. I love how everyone is helping each other out, this is the best forum ever!

I have a question: Did anyone one get the Silver package? From what I found there is a photographer included, has anyone used this photographer? How did the photos turn out?

We're from Vancouver and want to get married June 2010 but have no idea what kind of price to expect for our guests to stay for a week. Does anyone near BC have a figure they can pass my way?

                    Thanks so much!

I still haven't figured out how to set up a counter and other cute things you all have :)
