Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Hey Ladies,

Karisma Hotels is currently running a contest on their Facebook page.  I am trying my luck to see if I can win something (hopefully one of the cash prizes to help out for the wedding).

If you can, I was wondering if you could help us out?

All you have to do is:

1) Like the "Karisma Hotels" page

2) Like the Album "Gourmet Inclusive Vacations"

3) comment on any one of the pictures in the album and say that Nicole Meldrum referred you.  Very important to include both my first and last name :)

We are also entered into the "Best Proposal Story" starting on June 13th.  This is the monthly contest that other bestdestinationwedding brides have entered.  Hopefully you can help us out when the time comes for that one too :)

Thanks :)

So I booked myself for hair/make-up and mani from the Spa but to be done in my room on the day of the wedding.  My WC is asking what time I want to have it done? I have no clue lol, past brides what have you done and brides to be what are your plans?  I will just have my MOH, no other bridesmaids, want to get some pictures done before the ceremony but there's only so many photo ops with 2 people.

Any advice?

I've been scoping this site out for a while but we just confirmed our date a little over a month ago.  April 14th, so we're super close together.

Has anyone brought (or are bringing) down their own sheers for the gazebo? If so, where did you get them from, cost, etc. I'm just wondering if there is a way to do it a bit cheaper than the $150 per panel that they charge?

Thanks everyone!

I was quoted the same thing for up to 5 hours!

If you PM me with your email, I can send you more info/pics they sent me when I was inquiring.

Awesome!  We leave home on the 9th, so I'll be there for yours as well :)  Do you have a large group going?  I'm thinking ours will be small, 20-25ppl.

We had a friend do our hair and makeup, but we started about 10am and got married at 3pm. We were done hair and makeup around 1230pm...and had time for lunch and getting dressed. Few quick photos and lots of just hanging out and laughing! :)  (3 bridesmaids and me)

We started the morning with all the girls (not just bridal party), gathering for breakfast at 9am at one restaurant. It was one of my favorite memories of the day! And it made it truly special and actually relaxed me. Highly recommend this idea.gif

Thanks everyone!

When I went to the fabric stores in town locally I discovered that it would only save me about $30, and I would still need to transport it. Which when you start packing, you will realize it is a huge issue. Plan on packing as little as possible (personal opinion). There will be so many other things you would rather be packing; clothing, OOT bag items, wedding decor, table decor, dress, suit, etc.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
