We went with Doremixx.  They both have great reviews but we ended up with Doremixx because they were a little bit cheaper and very good at getting back to us. I don't think you can go wrong with either of them!!

(I know Doremixx is cheaper...is that the only reason?)

:)

Thank you!  I will be buying some this week!

The bugs that are complete pests are "no seeums"...yes that is their name. They are tiny bugs that you literally can not see...kind of like sandflies. If I were you, I would put insect repellent in the bags. Avon makes a good one tht is not toxic. It is called Skin So Soft Bug Guard

But my dress is now picked and deposit paid.

Went dress shopping for the first time today, this one made my mom cry!!!!

(similar to yours kerry872!!)....

I loved it, and think it would look beautiful on the beach....it has a Grecian style.

How do you know when to stop looking?  I really didn't want to try anymore on after this one....

I am SO EXCITED!!!!

Hey Melissa,

I am having the same problem.  I don't want to dictate what we do the entire time, but I feel like I should have things planned.

I am thinking that I may have the smores bonfire on Thursday, welcome party (with cigar roller) on Friday and then wedding on sat.  Also, I found blow up beer pong tables online so on Sunday, most of our friends are staying we may have a tourney in the pool!

One month to go you must be so excited!  What did you think of your site visit?  Getting worried about not having been to ABH!

Kerry

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
