    Hi Ladies,

Just wanted to check in and let you all know that I'm still alive.  To be honest, I've been lurking a little bit on here from time to time - reading posts and trying to keep up.  But generally, I've been kinda avoiding the forum because everytime I read the posts I just feel more stressed.  hahaha -

hearing about frustrated brides being moved to AB (OMG I am so sorry you're going through that right before the big day) to the resort being booked full for our wedding weekend (right after I sent out my invites)  ugghh... anyways I found for a while there that just keeping my head down and doing my own thing was the best for my stress level.

But... I'm hoping to be back and more involved for the rest of my planning process.  I know that everyone on here has helped me so much and I do want to share my experience and knowledge with others too as I think it's key for everyone to plan their weddings more easily.

That said - we sent out our invites back in January (formal invites - had already done email save the dates back last may)... I'm going to try and take a picture of them this weekend after I find my camera and post on here to share with everyone.

Right now, we're working on planning an excursion day (probably to Chichen Itza and a cenote) and figuring out when everyone's flights arrive to decide when to do a welcome cocktail reception (or if to do one at all).

I remember last year lots of brides to be made lists and posted them weekly to help them keep on top of their to dos... hmmm maybe an idea to copy.

Anyways, long post... sorry    Welcome all the newbies.  Congrats to those who I missed saying that to recently and thanks for understanding my hiatus everyone

Question - Does any one know if the tables at the Zavas Plaza for a reception seat 8 or 10?

The round tables are 8. And it was a comfortable 8, you would not want to squeeze anyone else in.

      They also offer sweetheart table for 2 (I think it's a semi-circle)

I saw some rectanglar tables...but when we asked they did not offer them, so not sure what they might seat? Or if you can even get them.

I understand how that could happen beaz2be!  I lurk around here quite a bit too.  Sometimes reading things on here really does cause stress, but all in all, I think it is more positive than negative.  I mostly PM people and they are always helpful. We are getting married on the 05/28/11, so maybe us Memorial Day weekend couples can get together for a cocktail.  Hang in there!  I know that you know that the time is flying!

I love the shoes Maggie, especially the ceremony ones.  They are much nicer than my bridal flip flops!

So Happy - Plus I have been flip flopping on jewelry so the shoes just made the call. Going with Gold which I look better in anyway!!!

                TLGnichi,

If you have any active duty military people flying AirTran they can check up to 3 bags, even on vacation. I am dividing some of my stuff among different military people to avoid us lugging too much and being charged for excessie baggage.  Just a thought.  Most of us are leaving out of BWI.

And Less is More, I'm thinking of you.  I hope all is coming together for you!

hello, just want to say thanks for the support!  the update is my inlaws are going to send a money order to my TA and he is going to pay for them on his own credit card.  So crisis averted!  i was super stressed this morning though, compounded with my long to do list and have to get my paperwork into the archdiocese this week and then FedEx them to Mexico!  Fingers crossed it all gets there or no wedding!  This forum saves my sanity sometimes!  Thank you!!
