Two weeks from today, I will be waking up at Sensatori for vacation. I promise if anything even remotely seems bad, I will let you ladies know. Also, I will bring my laptop for live posting!!!

So, everybody change their karma to positive or something!!! I still have no wedding dress, but going to Atlanta in 2 days, so keep your fingers crossed.
Thanks Ash! I'm going to stay positive! Brides change locations all the time from other hotels to different hotels, it happens.

I hope you have a great trip, I can't wait to hear all about it.

I am having a future in law's issue. I can't get over how little they want to be involved in our wedding. They told us months ago, when we decided on a destination wedding that this wasn't the ideal way they saw us getting married. They have complained about the traveling and now have only decide to stay for as little time as possible, just to see the wedding. My feelings are really hurt that they can't get past their personal feeling and be happy for us. My parents and friends tell me not to worry about it, and the people who love us and really want to be with us will be there. I know need to get over it but just can't seem to. Am I being a bridezilla?

mrsVaughn...

I know EXACTLY how you feel but for me it wasn't the inlaws that were the problem - it was my own parents (divorced). Ultimately I knew they'd be there no matter what, but I had such difficulty with it all - the comments about cost to them, the time they'd need to take off work, why are we doing it so far away, cant we do it 'here' 'here' or 'here' instead....endless comments like that.

it feels horrible, like someone's just burst your bubble and stamped on your parade.

what i've had to do is try and let it go over my head. i've tried to involve them as much as possible and I've found involving them more has helped and made them more responsive. my mum and her partner are still only staying for 1 week instead of 2 like everyone else, but she'll be there for the important bit.

as hard as it is, you have to accept it or it will ruin all your plans and your big day. try and just talk about the wedding in front of them lots and you'll probably find they'll get more and more involved.

hope that helps a bit. xx

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
