I am wondering if anyone has tips/info on how important strands of lights and/or lights in the lanterns would actually be...?

I was wondering the same thing! I have all my lanterns and I am trying to find LED lights for them, but it's harder than I had expected. Not sure what to do....

Hi!! SO as far as lighting the lanterns I just think it looks really pretty with them lit even if you dont really need the extra light-- I bought about 30 lanterns and for lights inside them, I found these little LED lights at Michaels called celebration lights- they look like little bullets and come 12 in a pack for $9.99 - we will put 2 in each lantern - they have holes in the top of the lights so you can just use fishing line to hang them from the wire in the lanterns- super easy! and they have little batteries that we will just have the set up team put in right before the reception-

Thanks in advance ladies!

I am bringing my own chistmas lights for sure- there are 6 poles for them at plaza zavez and that would be $300 just for lights and i think thats crazy!! My coordinator told me to get 25 ft long strands so I bought 6 of them from christmas lights etc. :-)

Hi lovely brides & BTB!!! I've been a bit MIA lately, and see we have welcomed some ladies to the forum! :welcome: MMK- Thanks so much for the advice and kind words :) Did you order suits from Studio Suits? I had Mike order samples bc we wanted to see the quality whille his suit store waits for his "samples" [which were supposed to come in two weeks ago already! eek] I actually changed the postcards I made in that same post also- I kept the wording but changed the images, the purple & pink were too "baby" colored for me hahah!
So my FI's suit came today!! I am so excited for him to try it on tonight!! So far from what I can tell by just touching it, it seems like really nice quality and a job well done but the true test will be how it looks on and how FI feels about it. Lol. We went with the glen check grey and are thinking of having the other guys wear a solid grey. We will have them order as soon as FI approves his :) I will definitely keep you updated on what he thinks and how it looks on him so far- here is just a quick picture I snapped with my phone: 400

What a great looking suit! I'm curious to hear how it fits- did you order custom sizing or pre-made size? And how long did it take to receive the suit from ordering?

I think we decided to order through Studio Suits b/c our suit guy didn't come through [the ONE sample we waited weeks to see was horrible ugh!]. So thanks for sharing the pic & your thoughts on it, this makes our decision much easier =)

She was absolutely amazing with creating what I envisioned and am so thrilled with how my order came out =) I want to share [insert happy squeal here]

Hey MMK0386,

I am going to bring my own stringed lights for the poles.  Got them super cheap from ikea.  You can borrow them too.

My fiancé absolutely loves it!! I'm so excited (and relieved!) We ordered the custom sizing. We followed the measurement guide on the website and I measured him myself. I also used tip from the thread on this forum for studio suits. Everyone said they run rather small even when you measure yourself so I added a couple inches to certain measurements. I will attach a screenshot picture of the girl whose advice I used for the measurements. The only place that is actually a tad big is the waist but its definitely not overly big. He will wear a belt and be fine! We also really love the color and even my MIL (whose grandmother was a legit Italian seamstress) said it was very high quality with great detailing and stitching. We were all impressed. My FI wants to buy more suits from them for work! Haha. I'm just so excited and like I said, relieved bc it's such a tough thing to custom order over the Internet!! You just never know... Good luck with yours!! Let me know what your FI thinks of his! 400

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
