Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Sorry you're going through this, but all the other ladies are right.  You can only control your own reactions, so try to let it go and enjoy yourself.  It will all be over before you know it!  I started planning over a year ago, and now my day is gone.  In the end, you'll be married, and that is really what counts.  I think your boys would love to be part of the sand ceremony, and may well provide comic relief.  We had our 3 kids involved (11, 11, and 14) and they really enjoyed it.  One of them spilled a bit of sand and got everyone laughing.  But my favorite part of our ceremony was when Mark vowed to 'pour my drinks', because we had a hard time understanding the minister.  I think it was supposed to be 'support my dreams', but either way works. cheesy.gif  Best of luck to you!

I have 2 excited lil boys aged 6 and 2 that cannot wait for Mammy and Daddy's wedding! They are both going to be our page boys. My 6 year old asked me the other day if he can have the job of giving the cake out after our wedding. When I said yes, his little face lit up! So that is his special job! My 2 year old cannot wait to play in the swimming pool. I am going to focus on savouring them details and not any negatives. We have decided the children will join in the sand ceremoney too. Which I am really excited about! My 2 year old is a right charactor and will probs throw the sand around rather than pour into the vases....it'l all be fun!

Thank you very much Murmel, mwise and bryteyedbride thankyou for making me realise the important thing's again

Thank's Kerry :-) im feeling much better today! My best friend is not coming either who would have been bridesmaid but she came up with a great suggestion today! She asked me if I wanted to borrow her garter that she wore for her wedding. We had a few tears and I'm over the moon as I will be taking something of hers that she wore for her wedding day :-) Maybe you could borrow something from your bf to wear on wedding day?

Thanks Murmel .....I will posting everything on here!! .....once I get my boarding passes finished. I will put them up

Thanks Karla LOL....love it "pour your drinks"!!!! That's something you will laugh about for years! That is unique to both of you. Im focusing on all the positives and my lovely family and hubby to be! My mam is my mam and I cannot change her but I know I will NEVER be like her with my own boys! It is up to her if she wants to come. I think the sharing of the sand ceremony with the kids is a great idea as they are such a big part of the family unit. You girl's really are great and A BIG THANK YOU TO YOU ALL as because of reading all of your posts my excitement has come back now

Rachel, I am sorry you have to deal with such a stressful thing when you are planning one of the most important days of your life.  I too, do not have a 'best friend' type of relationship with my mother, so  having her not be excited about minor details get so aggravating.  I learned to share my happiness with those who are happy for me.  Listen to the girls on here, out with the negativitiy, you don't need it.  You and your fiance are going to have a wonderful wedding no matter who attends.  and if people can't be there, so be it, you will never please everyone, but on this day PLEASE YOURSELF!!!  People are not going to agree with your choices or decisions but you don't have to let them impact you.  Keep your head up girl!!!!!!!!! Share all your details on here because we are more than happy to hear about each others weddings!!!!   Happy planning!!!

What a blessing that you have two wonderful little boys that will just be grinning ear to ear for every moment of your wedding! Concentrate on that and making it a day to remember for your family and it will be amazing! In the meantime, you can show us all your little details! LOL cheesy.gif

Too funny! I kinda messed up a line too: "I take with luck".....which was suppose to be "I take you Luke".  Haaa haa  It's just makes the ceremony your own special moment! But I love the fact that your man is going to "pour your drinks". shots.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
