Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Oh wow, I budgeted about $28k for this mexico wedding (not that I know how to come up with all of it!), so I'm glad to hear yours was much less. Hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised and come in way under!

Good to know and be reminded that it always comes together and it's ALWAYS about the uniting of bride and groom. My fiance and I bought his wedding band today and he teared up when the sales lady was saying I was going to be a beautiful bride. He was about to lose it. He's the best and I can't wait for our day!

Thanks for all the input!

Maggie - I'm with you 100% on the budget.  To have a wedding like all of ours in the states couldve easily cost close to $30K.  I had an amazing time with my friends, family, and hubby.  And would do it all again in a heartbeat...wouldnt change a thing!  except maybe the length of my bouquet...ahaha.

Totally Agree. It was the BEST time of my life even with the tiny hiccups and the stress. I had the best vacation and I got to spend 7 days with the love of my life.

Hey girls, I just noticed something which may be of interest for brides to be.  Make sure they clean the plank walk way.  In looking at Jaime's pics, the walkway looks great.  They didn't clean it for mine, and it looks funky.  Here's a pic.

There were petals put down right before, but the walkway should still be cleaned.

They were all Real Touch Flowers.....I can recommend the seller on Etsy that did them if you like. They were PERFECT!!!

Salon did my Curls and Make-up

It was a guy named Edgar (I think) and he was GREAT!!! I took my own make-up but you really don't have too because I liked his eyeshadows more so we only ended up using a little bit of mine. (I spent like $200 on Makeup that we ended up not using that day but I will use in the future)  He Curled my hair at 11am and I got married at 3

It held up till about 6 when I had to put it in a ponytail cause I was sweating. My mom got her hair done as well and everyone in the salon was AWESOME!!! You really can't go wrong you just have to be will to give them direction but in a laid back way

Wow they looked great! I love hydrangeas so I'm trying to see if someone used them in their centerpieces and how they held up in the heat. She did a really good job. I was fooled! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
