Previous brides can you answer my questions.

What happens to the hanging corsages from your ceremony, are they transfered to your reception area?

If you get chair bows for your ceremony do you have to pay agin to have them at your reception?

It just seems like its all money money money!!!

Everything is transferable.  Of course they charge set up fees - but its cheap.  100-150 depending on how much work you give them.  I had my tall glass vases, bows, hanging corsages etc etc all sent over to the reception site.  I also had them do a number of other things - set up of things I brought down myself.  It cost 150 (cash).

I added all these details to the comment section of my detail sheet so that it could not be missed!

HI ladies, hope everything is well for all you, I want to clarify something, I do not work for an specific resort, so brides hire me for anywhere, Mexico, USA and Caribe Islands, second the price I gave in some cases are low, I just kept this price for 2 years, I did have any profit for the first year since I wanted everything for a better service, it means a lot behind a simple photographer taking pictures, it means continuous  improvement, better edition screens, better back up systems, better cameras, better lenses, better backup lenses and camera, lighting, computers, etc also I

So to clarify this, if the bride hired me in 2010 for 2011 before July they have the same 2010 prices, so I am sorry if you see different prices but it is time to get ready for the next step.

Cheers!

Ivan

Here is his website www.luckiephotography.com

check it out.....I have heard great thing about him but I think I will be his first client at AS.

Thanks for the clarification Ivan. I think everyone is money conscious so I hope it was not an inconvenience to you for me post my prices.  I have always found it helpful to have a ball park idea of what things cost and everyone on the forum has been helpful in this manner. This allows people to decide if its within their budget or not. Everyone will agree that prices on alot of things have gone up so I am sure your prices will to.  I am very thrilled about having you as a photographer and just wanted to share and let the other ladies know there are options outside of the resort that is WORTH paying the extra expense to bring you onto the resort.  Call it free advertisement! Look forward to our sessions!  Only 12 days til we travel and 15 before the wedding!!!! See you soon

Ladies I did start planning in late 2009 and early 2010 if that helps! 15 MONTHS OF PLANNING and still fill like i don't have everything together!

never a problem, I have been chosen for many brides as their wedding photographer using my new prices and also paying the vendor fee, it is al matter of budget but I am sure all the brides will understand this, I do not get mad at all, but it needs to be clarified.

Thank you all!

Ivan

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
