I've been told to have your ceremony one hour before sunset..I think the time changes in Mexico in late October so check out the sunset schedule.

it's probably best to research the times for Sunset during October ...depending on how much sunlight you might want for pictures that may give you some idea of a  time-frame to start your ceremony

I was quoted $12 per chair as well.

Simply do a google search with sunset times Cancun. That's how we decided. We are doing our ceremony at 3pm (in January) since sunset is suppose to be just before 6pm.

Hi Mwise!

3 pm is a great time for your ceremony, you will get the most colorful ocean possible. And also, you will have time for your session.

Awww thank you so much :) yes the bottom of the gown is all tulle. We went to the fabric store purchased more tulle for my mother to stitch up the veil ($15). I absolutely loved my dress and it was such a steal I had to buy a second dress LOL.  I actually purchased my gowns 2 months before I got engaged LOL I guess I just knew lol.

    • Paradisus is actually notorious for doing this and we have to fight with them all the time to get the rates lowered. Are you using a TA to assist you?
    • Moon palace cancun offers Sikh priest. Janina Mendoza in weddings was very nice and able to help me.. suggest to contact her.
    • First of all congrats!!! Costa Rica is a magical place for a wedding  Are you working with a travel agency for your rooms? If not, I would highly encourage you to do so because an agent can often help you get in contact with the wedding department to get that conversation/communication going. I would suggest working with Wright Travel Agency, the official agency of this forum. These agents are specialist in destination weddings and have access to great promotions and group perks in addition to being able to secure the best rates for your group. Best of all the agency does not charge any fees to use their service, but it will take a load off your plate not having to worry about arrangements for travel for you and your guests. Shoot an email over to info@wrighttravelagency.com and one of the team members will get back to you and get the ball rolling for your group and the wedding department! Best wishes!!!
