Needless to say with the holidays and another stressful situation I had to take a few weeks before I could get back into wedding mode. I had a bit of a scare and ended up having to go for an MRI...but so far everything is clear! Thank God! Now I'm back on track and ready to get back in there and continue with all the planning!

We got most of our save the dates out before Christmas... the other half will be done in the next week. My FI's mom was late with getting us address' for her family. I was a little upset at the time because I wanted to do them with Christmas cards and we'd asked her for them weeks prior. Unfortunately it's to be expected from him family... which brought on family drama over the holidays... not fun. On the other hand, my family is really excited about the wedding and are all anxious to book!
welcome back Crista :) glad to hear everything is all clear.

sounds like a blast with your FI's family!! but hope it's all sorted now, and not ideal, but they are now out :) one more thing ticked off your list!

Thank you girls for all the nice wishes and impatience to hear how it went' date=' love you girls, you're too cute!!!QUOTE']

my photog offers hair and make up with her packages (for like £70 more) but now listening to you I think that's convinced me it's worth paying a bit more for. and I love smokey eye make up anyway so glad to hear you had it too :)

I haven't got pearls but maybe I should invest in a cheap fake set! lol and I like the feather idea too....

my photog hasn't mentioned anything about music to me but good point - I'll have to take some speakers and just plug in my iPhone!

but enough about me panicking!!

YAY YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and naked ones too!! woop woop! that just goes to show how comfortable you felt - an amazing thing to accomplish if you weren't intending on doing it anyway.

did you do any bridal shots? like I'm taking my veil (when I buy one) and 'wedding' lingerie.....

Can't wait for the pics!! popcorn.gif

Katie - thank you!!! You are going to have so much fun at your BD shoot, I know it. Don't forget alcohol if you drink, that really helped make it less serious and more fun. A friend being there really helped too.

As for pearls, I brought real and fake ones and ended up wearing the fake ones! So I'd say it was good choice.

As for bridal shots, I didn't want to do any of those for some reason. Just personal preferance and I don't really like veils for some reason. So I just took pictures lying on the bed next to the pinup calender I brought and put a red heart around our wedding date.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
