I bought a guestbook tree which is a PDF I'm printing out at Kinko's and it's a bare tree and guests make their finger/thumb prints the leaves with the green ink I bought and they sign their name then I can frame it. It's really cute and I picked out the fonts and everything of our names and wedding dates on it.

Then I thought about doing a poloroid guest book using a vintage looking chalkboard, my BF's dad has a camera I can use, just need a chalkboard. Then I was going to buy some props to play with.

THEN a few weeks ago my photog sent me a guestbook with my engagement photos in it! I didn't pay for this or ask for it, he just sent it! So there you have it, I went from wanting none to having 3 :)
those are all so cute! Aren't the engagement pic guestbooks so cutehuh.gif? I hope my photog gives me one for free!! You could always lay that out at one of your other functions and have 2!

It's expensive....we got it from a friend who's really great with computers(free)
But be warned it's difficult to use. My FI spent 2 whole evenings working on it (8-10 hours)
Maybe he can make a template I can sen out, if he can figure it out:)

Go to a store and talk to a manger. Hoping bulk costs less.
Online they will just tell you to go to a store.
Thanks for the video!

We are having the gazebo with just the fabric on it,no flowers.
I found chair sashes for $0.99 each,so I'll use those without chair covers.
With a beach you don't need alot,it's already beautiful.
The flowers are very pretty but I'm too cheap LOL!!
If you love the Deluxe then get it.

Lolo, love your mugs & flowers. Great work! You watched a YouTube video and just did them yourself? I am well impressed !!!!

AmyKH, Love your list of gifts for the BMs and GMs bags. The only thing left for mine are the med kits. I wanted to do bandaids, immodium, advil, and Tums. I dont have a membership to Costco, so trying to figure out where to buy the single serving thingys.

Oh guestbooks.... I had not even considered this. I'll probably just skip it and have one at our AHR. I definitely do not want 2 and I need a couple things to make my AHR more "wedding-like".

As for BM gifts, I am getting the spa wraps from smarty pants boutique that so many other girls have done on this forum. I also have a friend making earrings for the BMs. This might come off REALLY bad, but I am waiting until after my bachelorette and shower to determine the gifts. I think my sister is doing most of the planning & expense for the parties. She is my MOH so I will certainly get her something special, but I think everyone else will just get the wraps and the earrings.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
