haha!

are there other words/phrases that you all associate with us Brits?? I find it fascinating that 'well done' stands out to you all...but can just imagine you all saying it in your heads in a post accent like the Queen!! lol

Katie, I am so relieved for you. I can totally relate to the anxiety and hurt you must have been feeling in the wake of that text. Glad you guys can sort through everything and still be friends. We need each other! And it shows how close you are how she admitted how spot on you were!

Andrea, excuse my ignorance, but what is a petticoat?

I cant wait to go home and try on my shoes, veil and dress and take a picture and post it!!! It's almost more fun with you guys since we're all in the same boat than it is my friends. Is that bad wink.gif

AmyB, I totally understand! My friend who is the most excited about my wedding lives in California, so she isn't here to help me out with stuff. Rest of my close friends are either planning their own wedding, or are single and don't get my excitement. I love being able to share all of this with other girls who are just as happy! :)

Katie - I love your "well done!" definitely not something commonly used out here in the states, it's super cute :)

Andrea - I second seeing a picture of your shoes, I LOVE shoes!!

Amy B - A petticoat is a slip or underskirt that is often full and trimmed with ruffles or lace. It's mostly to add volume to the skirt or dress, think way back in the day, Victorian times with the big dresses, petticoats and corsets. Technically a petticoat is just what goes underneath a dress to make it big or not sheer or something... Laura Ingalls days all wore petticoats as well.

I agree with you on being more excited to show you girls stuff instead of friends. Most of my friends actually ask me about it a lot but I feel so secretive, like I'm throwing THEM a party and I want them surprised, that's pretty lame :)

Renee - Love your logo! It's really cute! That was one of the hardest parts for me and I don't even really use it that much wink.gif It's my stamp that is my avatar pic.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
