How did they mistake one week vacation from 2000 to 4000? Thats insane ive never heard of that before? Do you still have guest booking, I know theres a winter promo thru them right now...?
Another BDW bride told me about Gayle... I called in to switch to her furious and they asked me to give him one more chance. So here we are... one more chance!!

What's the winter promo?!! I haven't heard about this yet... my TA is ALWAYS out of town... I'm talking 3 weeks a month, I never hear back from him. Then when he tries to get a hold of me he calls and emails me like 10 times and I'm at work and can't talk. He's on the East Coast so our time difference really is not optimum.

Katie, Good luck tonight girl! I dont really know your whole situation, however Im a firm believer of the laws of attraction. (*and the serinity prayer, not that im all religious lol) but accepting the things you cannot change and moving in a forward direction and being positive about it. Have no bad/sad/mad thoughts, be happy about who you are, what your about and your health and happiness. Go into your dinner meeting with a big smile and hope for the best!!! Ive noticed in my life, that sometimes my friends and I go through different things at different times depending on where we are in our lives. And ive learned the hard way that just because someone doesn't understand or isnt on the same maturity level or have a similisar life style than mine, doesnt mean one or the other person is right or wrong. We just have to accept it and respect eachother.

Hope it all turns out for the best, hugggs to you!!!!

Yes, Gayle is cool for sure. Shes honest, and I appriciate that!

Winter promo is basically just a special i guess? Discount prices...

My inlaws are going for 5 days and got their trip for $1325 per person (approx) and got a $150 resort credit(for the spa i guess)

They booked months ago, but I thought, not 100% sure, but i thought it goes til the end of Dec if theres still seats open on flights....

Anyways, after a slight Bridezilla (very slight and majorly justified) blow up on my end demanding a new TA, I spoke to him for the first time in months last night.

I was very nice to him last night and I'm just trying to get him to add on 1 night to our AS stay and help us book our secondary honeymoon hotel. During his research in trying to quote us for the 1 additional room he discovered he made an error on our original price quote. He only ended up charging us for half of what he should've, so what should have been a $4,000 quote for 7 or 8 nights @ AS was only $2,000... so he said, "it's my mistake and now my wedding present to you since I'm will need to pay for this out of pocket". I told him I feel bad, that's a lot out of pocket and he said no, it's now his gift to us.

All in all, it worked out but I just thought I'd share my interesting story of the day with you ladies :)
OMG that guy must be the biggest moron on the planet lol. How the hell can someone screw up that bad? Works out great for you though!!

I can deal with that :)
Glad to hear you guys are going to try talk it out. How did it go?

She has been a complete lifesaver, and if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't even be at Azul Sensatori. I was planning to do my wedding at another resort, but she hooked me up with an awesome deal at AS, and I am SOOO grateful!

on another note, I am posting like crazy on all of the boards, trying to move up to junior member! Work is super slow, so this is my new goal today, lol.
nearly there! keep going!!

I'm posting for my senior member status...think that may take a bit longer tho! lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
