I got my bridesmaid's dresses at Ross for $15, so I am super-excited about that. They are a really pretty teal color and are chiffon. I was so worried about finding a dress because all of my girls are different sizes, but they all loved the dress and thought it was very flattering. I got their jewelry at Sam Moon (omg, I am in love with that store!)--they each got a silver starfish necklace, and I also found luggage tags for all of them.

My dress has come in, and I HAVE to lose 5 pounds for it to fit correctly. I'm a little worried with Thanksgiving being next week--any tips on how to stay fit during the holidays?!
Yay!!!! Congrats!!! smile29.gif

Wow, that's a steal! I keep hearing about everyone's cool colored dresses and I feel like I should do that too. I asked my girls to each wear their favorite black dress that goes to their knees and they were pretty happy about choosing their own.

I'm so jealous! I probably won't get my dress until a few months before the wedding. I'm on a workout program from my BD shoot and then another one for the wedding, 6 months of working out and dieting 6 days a week... people actually think I'm insane. My dress is form fitting entirely and silk so there's no leeway here!

Well instead of mashed potatoes I have a recipe for mashed yams and pears which will suffice as my potatoes. I'm making two veggies dishes, skipping gravy and very little stuffing. I'll also do this based off of cals, eat small cal meals throughout the day and make space for the bigger meal. I will also workout on Turkey Day to even things out if possible :) I also make a berry pie for Turkey Day and I use splenda and no one even knows this, it's so delish!

I wish I knew... I promote cheap flights to my RSVP'd guests when I find them and asked my TA to tell me about dips in cost at the hotel and I can use that as promotion.

It's nerve wracking but everyone else thinks I'm insane.

I would love to get her contact information if you wouldn't mind! That's a great price.. I was getting a little worried about money looking at the prices at the resort. Will there by any issues with bringing someone from outside in? Or do you have to buy a day pass?

Thanks,

Crista

Hmm no I didn't. There was one night that they were setting up this huge screen on the beach with lawn chairs all over, but other than that I didn't see anything going on. Keep in mind that Wed-Sat were a write off for any beach events because of the rain!

Hi ladies I have been so piled up at work, its been getting in the way of reading and writing on the thread.

Nicole, Its really refreshing to know you had things to do after your dinner. What you did is exactly what I was thinking when we finish dinner. It sounds like it worked out well and you all had plenty of room to have a good time. I am going to remember bringing our own docking station for the Ipod for music. Thanks a bunch.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
