I didn't bother to steam mine becuase it was a really thick satin and I thought it looked ok, but the wc didn't mention anything about it to me, but keep in mind I didn't ask either.

Andrea - what kinda shoes did you get? I'm such a shoe fantatic it's ridiculous. The designer of my dress bought me any shoes I wanted in the bridal store and I'm still looking for more shoes even though he's making the dress length to them, I need to stop.
That is SO cute what your dad said! :)

Ok ladies, good idea, let's say a maximum of 3 items over two weeks just to keep the stress level down and if you get more done, bonus! Check in with us here when you've completed your items and what they are with pictures too if you like. I can make a update of who is getting what do so we don't forget and that way you'll see your progress as well!

I will do a new list every other Friday, so we'll start tomorrow, here's what my 3 things are to do/get done:

#1 -Finish wording on invites and get info over to Ana
#2 -Pay deposit to DJ
#3 - Go to Banana Republic on Sunday to look for groom attire
#4 - Go to fabric district and pick up supplies for facsinators and jewelry (already planned)
HAHAHAHAHA Amy you crack me up!!! you've just come up with a fab idea and then you suggest to coordinate everyone's together - stop making work for yourself lol smile105.gif (hehe!!)

Now I need to check out Katie's website!

Thanks guys - I love the little umbrellas. I was going to order online but I think I'll just find a Target & crafts store and buy them there.

my 3 things to do this week are:

1) book the caterer for my AHR

2) find a couple hotels for room blocks for my AHR

3) send out all brochures to RSVP'ers

Katie - It's what I do! I'm constantly trying to organize or make things tougher on myself by adding to my load :) It's all good though! One of my close friends is pregnant, due 2 days before my wedding and I offered to through her a baby shower and she turned ME down saying I was crazy to add more to my plate! She's probably right...

Andrea - You're so cute! smile03.gif We have such an awesome group I figured this would just be a really good idea on focusing and getting stuff done since many of us are 3-6 months away! I love your shoes BTW! Mine are very similar, white, peep toe, slingback as well!

Nicole - I love your siggy picture, so cute!

Alright ladies, I've created a document with all of our to do's, I'll post it tomorrow afternoon to give others a chance if they want to join us as well :)

I'm new to this post and soon to have my wedding booked at Azul Sensatori.....can't wait. Any good advice?

Welcome, welcome! My advice is take some time to go back through the posts. I learned a lot by starting from near the beginning of the thread and absorbing all the advice and experiences of brides who have already had their weddings at the AS. Granted I think a lot has changed at the hotel since you'll see posts from brides who were some of the first to get married at the hotel, but there are great tips - especially in the planning threads!

Enjoy your planning!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
