Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Crista - haha, it's ok, it's there for display :)

Ladies, I'm thinking of starting a game to get wedding items done in an easy and fun way. I know, seemingly impossible right but I know Katie and myself have been working out every day successfully and are motivated by talking to you all so I was thinking we could do the same with wedding to do's.

We could either do this weekly or monthly and we could pick one item to get done or top 3 to get done and check in here once done and post our next item or 3 we're working on.

When I work on too many projects I get zero done but if I have only a few and I need to check in with you ladies, I think that may get me more focused. Also, that way we can share what we're doing, which can help each other think of things to do they maybe missed etc.

Let me know your thoughts, I'm open to all suggestions but this may make things simple!

Happy Thursday aka almost Friday! muscle.gif

Amy, that sounds like a great idea. Would we submit different things to get done then? I think 2 weeks would be a good time to check back! Even if the task takes longer, like booking excursion, you could say : organize ideas and call companies one week then oragnzie transport another week, etc.

I just decided on my table seating card displays. I got it off of Martha Stewart Weddings. I am usually not a Martha fan, but her wedding stuff is awesome.

I was going to do Mexican tiles, but then I thought of the weight of bringing them with me and being fragile I changed ---->

Parasol Seating Cards

Aren't they adorable!! And only need a tray, foam, and the umbrellas. :)

Happy Thursday ladies.

Meghan welcome back. We missed you.

Amy,

I like the game and it I know it would help me to stay focused on getting things done. I am so bad a getting side tracked and since Feb. 13th is 93 days away; I don't have time to get side tracked.

Oh girls I got my shoes ordered last night and finally got my veil delivered to my parents house ( where I am keeping everything). I tired my veil on and my Dad looked at me and said, " I will probably cry when i walk to down the aisle". It was so sweet.

Amyb - SUPER cute!! I love it and very easy to transport. Mexican tiles too are such a great idea but very heavy and breakable unless you bought them down in Mexico.

Andrea - what kinda shoes did you get? I'm such a shoe fantatic it's ridiculous. The designer of my dress bought me any shoes I wanted in the bridal store and I'm still looking for more shoes even though he's making the dress length to them, I need to stop.

That is SO cute what your dad said! :)

Ok ladies, good idea, let's say a maximum of 3 items over two weeks just to keep the stress level down and if you get more done, bonus! Check in with us here when you've completed your items and what they are with pictures too if you like. I can make a update of who is getting what do so we don't forget and that way you'll see your progress as well!

I will do a new list every other Friday, so we'll start tomorrow, here's what my 3 things are to do/get done:

#1 -Finish wording on invites and get info over to Ana

#2 -Pay deposit to DJ

#3 - Go to Banana Republic on Sunday to look for groom attire

#4 - Go to fabric district and pick up supplies for facsinators and jewelry (already planned)

Andrea....

that's lovely about what your dad said :o) and how exciting about your shoes!! i ordered a pair on Saturday so just waiting for them to arrive...I don't know if they are 'the ones' but I'll let you know when they get here!!

Amy F....

FAB FAB FAB idea! us talking about our running and workouts has really helped me so doing the same with to-do lists will probably be a good thing for me too. and 2 weeks is probably better so people can maintain focus. (god I feel like I'm writing a proposal at work now!! lol) if people are feeling lazy and don't want to write them out, we could use our siggys...then when we post people can send comments checking where we're up to!! (i know that's going to sounds strange to some people, but having people telling me what to do - even if they're telling me something I've told them to tell me lol - really helps!)

Amy (bermuda)....

love the place cards! what a great idea!! do you know where you're going to get all the bits from?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
