The place I'm looking, or found one I love is Duosheng

I'm still waiting from some girls on BDW to report back on their purchases. I do know one bride got a simple one from Light in the Box and loved it.
Ah thanks Amy! That first link you put was really good - same set up as light in the box but i found a dress I think is perfect for me straight away! You are a god-send lady! xx

Ok, I am going to look at P90X and Intensity and start them ASAP!!!! Thinking of 60+ people seeing me in a bathing suit right now is giving me major anxiety! haha Have you girls ever heard of Body Attack? it's a Les Mills class at the gym...it has plyometrics, push ups, abs, high intensity cardio, agility, etc etc. If you have it at your gym, definitely check it out!

Did you girls send out a save the date email and save the dates??
We sent out a save the date (by email) October '08 for our July '10 wedding so almost 2 years before! We are working on formal invites. We will send them out just after christmas and as for RSVPs by the end of Feb.

Damn Megan - you must be so organized planning almost 2 years in advanced! Thats awesome.

Does anyone know if Azul Sensatori guests can use the Azul Beach hotel property & restaurants and vice versa? I heard they are right next to each other (ok, with a nudist hotel in the middle lol) and the rooms at Sensatori are cheaper and I know my friends would rather stay there.

I was talking about FI last night about how the world is so electronically based it's amazing...

SO I sent out my 3 different postcards I had made up to follow up my STD's I sent out May 1st this year... so October 1st I sent them all out.

For people that hadn't RSVP'd I created a postcard asking them to RSVP by 12/31/2009... which I know is early but I'm REALLY trying to get people to PLAAAAN ahead of time. I created the postcard self address to me and FI, stamped it and have areas to check yes, I plan on attending or no, we are unable to make it. To cover all my bases, I included my wedding website at the bottom of course.

So responses started coming in, people RSVPing that that will or won't make it, so these postcards totally worked and I'm happy about that... BUT the funny thing is, MOST people went to my website which is much more work than putting a check mark on a line and tossing it in the mail...

I thought I'd let you all know that I have gotten the BIGGEST response from people when I email them... or direct them to my website. Email STD's might be a better idea if you're considering it. I am a memento fan so I like to keep stuff and one of the reasons why I did the STD... besides its up on my friends fridges which makes me super happy to see when I go over their house.

The other postcards were booking nudges (which they will put up on their fridge and be a constant reminder to get to booking). I'm encouraging but not demanding people book by the end of this year too. How awesome would that be?!

Third postcard is a thanks for booking don't forget your passport.

Hope all you ladies are doing well! I'm onto my placecards now and considering hiring a DJ after thinking about having to download 5 hours of music...

Amy,

OMG you are so well organized. I would love to be like that one day. What a great idea to send out different save the dates as reminders. And the one about remember your passport is such a good idea. In fact, I might use this idea and send one just to the people who are booked. Thank you for bringing such amazing ideas to the thread!

As far as I know, you cannot use the other hotels.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
