thank you :)
I don't have a picture of my bridesmaid dress because when my MOH tried in on it looked like a potato sac, so I opted out of that kodak moment. I am trying not to go the dyeable route because we all know you never end up wearing them again. I am not crazy about the silver option with coral dresses. I thought about maybe a bronze or copper color.
Here is the website to the dress, the style is 366, but of course my color (tulip) is not one of the colors shown.
Let me know your thoughts.

Scooby!!! Congrats on your wedding and becoming a Mrs!!! I can't beleive you took the time to update us from your Honeymoon, thank you!!!

I took booked the swim up suite for the first portion of the trip and plan to move to the Honeymoon suite on wedding day... hopefully they upgrade me because I've been worried about moving too!

I'm having the Donkey Fiesta for my cocktail reception in between the ceremony and reception and planned to have the Mariachi's until I saw the cost... $1,700 for 45 minutes?! My WC said I could go with the Mexican Trio for $700 which is better but I don't know if the Mariachi's are $1,000 better...

The sunset cruise and the snorkeling cruise sound fantastic!! I'd love to do something like this... when you return if you could give me the company name I'd like to contact them =)

Once again you're fabulous for sharing this with us! I think I held my breath the whole time for some reason LOL! I'm down to 7 months to the day and can't believe it!

I am so jealous you are so organized. I need to get on the ball.
I don't have shoes yet...i think I am just going barefoot or wearing flip flops. I have size 4 feet, so I can never find heels that fit. No undergarments yet either...i have no idea what to wear for that! Im having a bra built into my dress...im not busty at all so i can get away without one! Your veil sounds really pretty! I want a veil too, but I'm concerned it might blow all over the place and be in my face....so im not sure what im going to do yet. The lady who is making my dress suggested i get a veil that goes to the ground and then little weights (decorated with flowers) can sit on top of the veil to keep it from blowing.

Meghan,

I totally forgot about getting a bra built into my dress, thank you. I am not busty either and it will be so much more comfy. I say if you can find a veil you should go for it. I mean how many times do we get to wear a veil in our lives. Even if you didn't want to wear a long veil there are lots of shot ones out there too. Either way you will be a very beautiful bride.

Hi girls!! I know I should be quoting everyone's responses, but I am way behind.

Amy, I LOVE the centerpieces even more. How are you doing them? I am doing a birdcage veil too!!! I saved your FSIL's webpage. Can't wait to check it out. I am doing the same thing for my girls-everyone wear a fun black dress that is a specific length. Hopefully, I can find some cute shoes for them! What is your new workout? I am contemplating P90x. I workout ALL THE TIME, but I need something to shock my body...and girl, I have heard it definitely does that!

Katie, you TOTALLY created the "honorary azul sensatori" title! haha Love it! I am doing trash the dress too! I am debating whether or not I should just wear my wedding dress again. If I can find a cute, cheaper one, I'll definitely do that. Amy, tell us about this custom Chinese dresseshuh.gif

SCOOBY! That was so sweet of you to post so quickly!! CONGRATS on getting married!!!!! I bet you guys are having the best time ever. Can't wait to see your pictures!

Sometimes I get sad I didn't pick AS, but I LOVE my resort. For some reason, I kept having second thoughts even though I loved everything about it. Maybe we can honeymoon there!?!?!

Thanks Lindz! I'm bringing the orchid stems with me, having them cut to the length of the vases. I'm renting 3 vases per table for them and bringing floating candles. The coordinators will have that picture and put them together on the tables for me.

My new workout is called Insanity which is supposedly harder than P90X - I've NEVER been so toned and ripped in my life as I got with P90X... sadly I didn't realize how in shape I was until AFTER I finished and took a break. It's a rough workout and will get results no matter what. 6 days a week 1 - 1/2 hours and a strict diet. Insanity is really serious cardio, no weights just body resistance. Nothing was challenging to me until I did P90X so it definitely works.

Don't be sad, you picked a GORGEOUS resort and you can always honeymoon there for sure. I am considering honeymooning at El Dorado Maroma or El Dorado Casitas :)

I will have to get another dress as we are having a full-on UK reception when we get home and I am definitely not risking the dress before then!

Try this site (I presumed this is the one Amy was talking about as well) - really cheap wedding dresses....

Katie that is one of them I've been looking at but I'm not convinced. Another is cheap wedding dress, ice skating dress, mascot costume, bridesmaid dress, spiderman suit, custom made order

The place I'm looking, or found one I love is Duosheng

I'm still waiting from some girls on BDW to report back on their purchases. I do know one bride got a simple one from Light in the Box and loved it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
