I am really excited for you to do your site visit. Please let us know how everything looks and how the service is. Also we love pictures!!

 

If you could see how the beach is and the also the gazebo/ canopy on Zocallo beach ( this should be the canopy close to the pier). I would really appreciate it.

Kitten, I'm going vintage theme too!! So funny! Maybe we can swap ideas? Also, how long is your photographer going down for?? My wedding is two days after yours... do you think he/she would be interested in doing 2 weddings during that time frame? If so, can you send me info??

Really?! Yay, totally! I haven't found too many brides on here doing a vintage theme so it will be nice to share ideas :)

Maybe we can even meet for a drink since we'll be there at the same time! I'm sure he'd be fine taking your pictures too since he'll already be down there!

Hi Ladies!!!!!

 

First -thank you all so much for your lovely wishes on my wedding day -it was perfect!

 

Second, sorry it has taken me so long to get back on the site.... it seems our flight home got switched to a red eye flight which got us home at 6:10am on Monday morning and we both had to fly into our work week.... I'm still a little groggy, but am trying to catch up!

 

I will post 2 reviews -the first on the resort. The second on the wedding, and of course I will work on getting some photos up too! It may be a week long process however!

 

I didn't read all the post since we've been gone (that would take a god day and a half!), but if any of you have pressing questions, I would be pleased to answer them.

 

More to come!!!

 

Oh, and Katie.... Cuba is a fantastic place, but the food is not great. My now-HUSBAND (giggle) and I were there 2 years ago and that was the main reason we didn't go back for our wedding -eating there was always a challenge!

Hey girls,

Not sure if any of you have done the same but I have just had an email back from Tiffany regarding what is included in the packages.

I noticed that the new Silver and Gold packages for 2010 had the sand ceremony and bride hair style included (also, a few other bits that I wan;t too bothered about) so I emailed Tiffany about it and she has just added them onto my package free of charge.

Thought I would share seen as we do not get many things for free at AS!

It is only 8 weeks till the wedding and I do not have a passport yet! Need to get organised now.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
