I don't know how many past brides still read this thread but I'm having a difficult time deciding on cocktail hour and dinner:

 

Has anyone done the Donkey Bar on the Yoga Palapas?

 

Has anyone gotten the Surf & Turf menu 4? It's really hard deciding one meal that everyone will like without doing a buffet.

 

Any suggestions would be FABULOUS, thanks!

Amy thanks for the update on the brochure...That is great the pricing has decreased. I'll re-download and check it out.

 

Kittenheart - The donkey bar sounds really neat. I recall KatKen, I believe that is her name...she had the donkey bar from her photos. If you look up her review, I think she posted it separate it should have some good info..I'll try and find the thread and let you know.

Hi KittenHeart - in response to your question about the cake...I am having them do a custom cake for me. I emailed the WC a photo and told her I would like it exactly the same as the pic. She emailed the Food and Bev people and a few days later I was told it would be no problem at all. I am a bit worried, but the WC assured me that they would be able to do it. I am only being charged $100 more than what it would cost for the standard cake. Hope that helps!

Thanks Jenna!! I found this last night. I asked if we could skip the donkey but then I felt so guilty that I decided to include him. I have only heard good things about his prescence but I was just hoping people wouldn't think it was tacky.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
