Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Amy your pics are hot!!! I LOL'd at this comment about you guys on the photographers blog:

"Iâ€ve been really lucky this year with having some pretty sexy couples to shoot, but I think Amy and Daylen may win the trophy for best make-out session! At one point in front of Disney Concert Hall, we did get asked to leave because I had them “workin†it†a little too much I guess."

AHAHAHAHA S&M.gif

hey guys! im not actually ya bride (im on here on behalf of my sister!) we just returned from a 2week holiday at the Sensatori and shes now thinking of having her wedding there! We only paid £1200 for a 2 week AI stay.

I just wanted to tell you all not 2 panic about the resort :) and I can tell you the truth about the group of bad posters on Trip Advisor lately.

The 'leader' of the bad posters was a man from Middlesbrough in the UK (enough said if you know the place..!) and he was there the same time as us, telling everyone to post bad reviews on websites. how childish. basically, he was complaining that:

* Waiters wouldnt get his breakfast from the spoon (Eh...it has always been a buffet style restaurant- says so in the brochure.

* That they took ALL of the a la carte options off. NOT TRUE! Fair enough, there wasn't any for breakfast but there was at the Mexican for lunch and at an evening they all offered a la carte or buffed. So i dont know where he got that from..?

*There we NO premium brand drinks. Again..not true, so i don't know where he was looking? Was always those brands on display. If you came to the bar more than once they always gave us the good stuff :)

I hope that makes you calmer, but he was going around gathering about 30 people to complain because he wants to get compensation from Thomsons (UK TA)

I saw one of you said the croc story wasn't true..but it was! (I have picture proof!) I was sitting on the seats at the end of the pier and one of the entertainment guys pulled it out of the water (baby who had escaped from lagoon) He taped up his mouth and legs and was going to put him back in his home lol!

We honestly did not have a problem with the the BBQ and thought it was lovely (Coming from a person who previously only ate chicken) the BBQ ribs are to die for and everything was well cooked. Loved all of the other restaurants honestly, couln't pick a bad one. Our favourites were the Carribean (yummy crab cakes)Ialian (Crab and saffron rissoto) or the Tapas. Le Chique was tasty too.

The beach isn't as bad as past reports. The sand is fine but the water is a bit rocky due to the reef behind. Walk 5 mins to the left, just before the nudist beach and u can swim perfectly.

I actually saw one of the weddings from a bride on here! Sorry i can't remember her name but it was on the 5th September i think it was, her reception was a lovely set up!

Im gonna start researching wedding packages to help my sister..but please dont hesistate to ask me any Q's you may have.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
