Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Ash - I can't see the picture either sad.gif Actually $85 isn't bad at all considering the prices on Lomas for some of the other so/so centerpieces.

Katie - as a group we only need $50 total... since I don't need $50 worth of pasminas I thought we'd go in on it together to get the good price.

That puts us at needing 13 pasminas when I only need maybe ten, Bree is getting 10 and you can let us know how many you want. I'm also going to scour the internet for a coupon code, hopefully free shippng or get them cheaper!

Then we'll all just split the cost and go from there!

Amy & Katie, I'm so glad you like the flowers! That makes me feel a lot better about my decsion and happy to save the money. =)

I just asked to get 2 $25 bout's instead of the bouquet which just comes with a matching bout, no worth in that they say.

Hi Girls,

A while back someone had asked about menus. I'm sorry it has taken me so long to reply. I think it may have even been a PM but I thought I would just post here for everyone.

We did the BBQ Deluxe option for our menu. To be honest, I have no idea if it was good as I only had a roll all night long!

It looked delicious and all of my guests seemed to enjoy it. The reason I chose the buffet BBQ Deluxe is because I wanted people to have access to food quickly. I didn't want a big formal sit down dinner, we wanted more time for music, dancing, and the DJ.

Hope that helps!

katken,
Over all how was the food at the resort? Was there anything you fell in love with or anything you don't recommend?

Overall the food was excellent! We only had one OK meal at the Mexican food place (go figure) but when we went back again, it was great.

That's also where I had my "40 person reservation." I used my reservation as a ladies lunch. The chef had a prepared menu of chicken or fish and they were both excellent. The ladies at the luncheon were able to choose which option they prefered once we were all seated.

I know how stressful all of this is, especially if you're not able to do a site visit. We didn't go to AS before our wedding and I was sick to my stomach almost every day about the food, the resort, on and on. But honestly, I can't stress how wonderful AS is. We're planning on going back we liked it so much. So try not to stress. Enjoy this time, it goes by very quickly!

Ooooh, I forgot to tell you that if you're an adventurous eater, Le Chique is a must! It was delicious. I recommend splurging on the wine pairing with your meal there. The house wine is terrible everywhere at the resort. The rest of the drinks are great!

Hey ladies...no clue why the picture isn't visible. I am traveling without my own laptop so I thought I would post a link to a picture. Only difference on this one is that the candles are not clear oil candles, which look a bit more romantic.

I am in Atlanta, came here to go to the merchandise mart to buy our wedding bands (love wholesale jewelry)....there is a HUGE bridal show going on. We are talking like 1000 vendors. Got a guys card last night at dinner that said he could find me the Carolina Herrara dress I want at a discount...hope neither one of us were drunk!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
