Hey Ash -

I live in CA and you can buy Emergen-C @ any health food or vitamin store. Whole Foods, Trader Joes or online @ Vitamin Shoppe. Emergen-c is a vit-c powder you put in water, I put it in hot lemon tea personally and I haven't missed a day of work this year because of it. It's a lifesaver! It comes in a box of 30 packets for about $7 - $8 bucks, can't beat it!

I bought my first OOT bag item on Friday, couldn't pass it up!

Target's dollar section had mini "Cocktails for Dummies" booklets on sale for 50% off, 50 cents a piece!

I remember when I was in Cancun last year, them not knowing a lot of the off the wall drinks and shots so I'm going to make a note on them saying something to the effect of "when you're drinks are unlimited, so are your options! - bring me to the bar" (that needs a little work :) )

I also had a sample bag sent to me from 4imprint, a black lined jute tote that I'm in love with, a little pricey but I'm not doing favors so I want to do quality bags people will reuse for the beach.

I read in a magazine last night and just remebered (I had Sangria for dinner) that some people are putting English to Spanish dictionaries in their bags.

Also in terms of drinks, these guys keep a notebook at the bar for all of their recipes. I added a few to them on my last trip!

OTT stands for Out of Town bags. Not really sure why its OTT and not OOT. haha!

Favors are what people usually do at their reception. Like mini picture frames, or cookie cutters with a little a note attached with the bride and grooms wedding date. A friend of mine did hot coco mix as her wedding favor people could grab on the way out.

Best of luck Bree, Azul Beach sounds lovely.... if we hadn't been expecting kids (which aren't coming in the end) we probably would have chosen that as well!

Your wedding will be beautiful and I look forward to seeing the photos in October/november!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
