Ash, you should definitely email Tiffany. We were quoted at $100 each, and now I have her checking into reducing it to $75 (we are getting 2). She mentioned some sort of sale on the fabric as the reason others were getting a quote of $150, but it seems odd that they would buy this fabric brand new for each wedding -- I would think we are just using sheets they already own (and reuse) -- so, yeah, recheck -- sounds like there is flexibility here.

Ya that's what I was wondering - if it would be helpful because they have Karisma reps there. Hmmmm. I don't know. I can't really think of any questions that I have except for the obvious "why does everything cost so much?"

LOL, ya, thats a good question! They are grabbing our money at every chance they get!

I'm trying to decide what to do for our menu options. I am either going with Menu 1A or Menu 1B. Does anyone have any thoughts on what they think would be better, or for those who have already gotten married, what are your thoughts on the menu?

Ok, I think I have Tiffany's FINAL, FINAL answer. White fabric is $50 a piece. Colored is $75. She says that she made a math error on my spreadsheet and that my 2 pieces of blue and 2 pieces of green are now $300 instead of $600.

I'm having a hard time with the menu. It is like I want one of this, and one of that, but some things aren't on the menu. Anyway, when I spent last Thanksgiving at Sensatori, I made friends with Michael, the chef at Le Chique. I am meeting with him next month when we go down to finalized some stuff. He said he would put a menu together for us. Can't wait to see how much that costs!!!!

Which meal option do you think is better:

1. Stuffed chicken breast with cottage cheese, sun dried tomatoes and olives, accompanied with potato gratin and mixed vegetables.

2. Pork Tenderloin with bell pepper pesto crust, roasted endive and corn cakes.

I'd say the Pork. Probably would appeal to more people and sounds good!

Kittenheart, I think you can mix and match. I asked Tiffany today if I could mix some of the stuff from Menu 1 together, and she said that was fine.

Thanks so far for the opinions on the menu! Please let me know your opinion if you haven't already!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
