Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Jenny - awesome pics! What was your bouquet called - was it just tropical flowers?? I love it!! I also love your centerpeices. How did you tell AZUL to do that arrangement? We need your planning thread as everything looks amazing.

I hope my wedding party takes as many shots as you guys did - nice work!

So I'm stalking weather.com and it says it's going to rain all next week. I'm so bummed. I'm praying they just forecast showers and that they don't really happen all day long. UGH. I'll be so sad if it rains all week that I'm there. censored.gif

Thanks so much for the reports ladies! Great pictures!

I was just curious - have any of the previous brides used the DJs through Lomas? I thought I saw some postings that referenced getting a DJ through the hotel, but I wasn't sure. Would love some feedback as we are interested in hiring a DJ for our reception.

Does anyone if Azul Sensatori uses the photographers listed on Lomas Travel (Caribe photo, Royale Photo, Claudia photo, Mexican wedding photo)? If so, did you like them? I used to be able to find this info on Karisma website but they changed their webpage and can no longer find it.

Also, has anyone used the DJ that comes with Azul? On there webpage it says $1300 for 4 sets while lomas travel says $1500.

I wouldn't worry too much....the weather forecast showed 80% chance of rain the day of our wedding and it was perfect! Plus, the weather channel shows that area as a part of either Cancun or Playa del Carmen. That's a pretty broad range, especially for some random showers.

I am planning on using the DJ. I have a full iPod as back up as I am really nervous about this decision but I did not want to play DJ all night, so I'm risking it. I'll make sure to do a full review when I'm back!

It's $1,500 on my planning sheet from Fabio.

OK, this helps calm my fears more than you know! Thank you so much for letting me know!

Hey katken, I have been told by many people that those weather networks are not accurate when it comes to the weather in Mexico. I have been told that it will say its raining when it is actually sunny, so try not to worry so much about it, because it very well might be quite wrong! I'm sure you will have many beautiful days :) When do you leave?

I dont know much about the cost for a DJ but I know that the photographers you mentioned are approved by sensatori. ON the Lomas website, you can look at some of their photos.

RE: WEATHER

This is very TRUE! I live in bermuda and the weather.com forecast is rain every day. Now, it is pouring today, but besides that it hasn't rained for almost a month! These are like passing showers like they have in Florida.

I have been watching the cancun weather too but if you look at how many inches of rain that falls - its like 0.02 - 0.30 inches....

These are low resolution. But they will give us a flash drive with the high resolution photos so we can print however we wish. I'll post the day after photos once I get those.
Enjoy!
Jenny your wedding looks amazing! You looked gorgeous, where did you get your dress?? I love it... the flowers, the BM's dresses, beautiful. It looked like everyone had such a great time! :) I'm so happy to hear these good reviews, it makes me able to breathe just that much easier!

You said you didn't have a DJ and just an iPod right? Did you have anyone manning it or just let it do it's thing the whole night?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
