I guess it's not something that would make me change my location (way too late for that) but just hope it gets fixed soon.

I just feel bad that all of my guests are paying so much money to come. I want them to have a great experience.

Humph!
i am with you! that post freaked the crap out of me. i can imagine that the beach is what it is, but the water can be fixed. apparently their "grand opening" is not until dec 20th, so no more "new" excuses after that!

let's all send positive energy to the azul sensatori and hopefully our dream weddings can/will come true!

I am actually kind of glad that the Azul Sensatori didn't have my wedding date available now by the sounds of things! I think for me it was a sign! I love the Karisma weddings however and that is why I am now at the Eldorado Seaside Suites! I'm sure everything will be figured out before the next set of weddings are set in motion! Keep thinking happy thoughts! I'm sure all your weddings there will be absolutley stunning!!!

I don't know.
Nikki, I would suggest having dinner in Spoons and then to cut down on cost have a private "dessert" reception. They have an option where you can get a chocolate fountain and then maybe you can order a wedding cake. Have an IPOD to play music and just have fun!

I agree with you all on that trip advisor review. I can deal with everything else, but I will be very upset if the water issue is not resolved.

yes that trip advisor review scared me too, a clean beach is really important for me so im hoping that the maintenance is getting better... and of course the water issues as well! my TA will be checking out the Azuls again this Dec. so will share her stories and pictures, if any!

thanks!
I am having between 20 - 30 guests and no I haven't decided about the reception location. I may end up doing what I suggested to Nikki. You are having a lot of guests! That's so cool. I wish all of my friends and family were going but everyone is complaining about money.

What is Polina doing for her reception and how many guest will she have?

Thanks Mesita. I will definitely look into that. So what options do you have for the location of the private dessert reception?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
