Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Hi everybody!

My name is Erin and I just joined the board. Someone mentioned this site on TripAdvisor so I thought I would check it out! My fiance and I are getting married at Sensatori on 2/8/09. We will have 11 guests in attendance + a photographer from home. I have been reading a lot of the old posts on here and I feel like I have SO much planning left to do! I have been with Hayley through BeachBum Travel and she has been fantastic! (I highly recommend them!) As far as details, we are getting married on the beach at 3pm because that is the time the judge could be there and I am bringing my own flowers (fake ones). I have had ZERO contact with anyone at Sensatori and have spoken with Fabio only through my travel agent.

Well that is my story! Hopefully I will be able to share some insight with you all as we all get closer to our big days!!

Thanks in advance for all of your help and info!

Erin

What have you girls decided about a videographer?

I want to use a preferred vendor for this. The Caribe Video is less than $500.

I wonder if it any good or if we should spend $1000 for Mexican Wedding Photos or Claudia Rodriguez's husband Mike Cantarell (spelling?)

Has anyone done any research on this?

The chavari charis are available for $15 however this is only for the Wedding Ceremony not the Reception. I guess that no one had asked for them for both before so Fabio is looking into it for me but I would assume that if they allow me to use them for both, they will probably charge me more.

Also, I know that some of you have had issues with the Karisma planners but I have to tell you that I think Fabio has been great. I am still 38 days away from leaving for my trip and I know most, if not all of my details and have the updated detail sheets from him with all the pricing for my specific requirements.

So now its just a matter of hitting the gym and writing my vows. :-)

Good Luck to all of you planning for your big day!

That's great to know thank you for sharing! Can't wait to hear more about your final details :)

About working out, I just started back up after 3 months off and I thought I was going to die from soreness. I figured it was a good idea before the holidays. he he.

My Fiance is in advertising so we're lucky enough to have ours designed by a co-worker and we are using one of their vendors to print. We are doing all the the final revisions in the next couple of days, so I'll let you know then. And I'll post what they look like :) There's a couple of good vendors on here, but I'm not sure of the cost.

Does anyone know why Polina is banned?

Hi All.

I'm finally home from towards the end started to seem like a long 12days in Mexico (I'm a really fussy eater) Anyways I all ready have my disc of proofs from Caribe Photo but there are far to many for me to post, due to my lack of points. If one of the full members would like me to email the file to them I would be happy to do so. This way everyone will see.

I will also hit you guys up with a review just as soon as I unpack and somehow make it back to the office todayrofl.gif

I will say that the wedding was beautiful and I was more then pleased with everything.

Hope you all are well and are hanging in there okay.

We got ours @ Target, $25 for 50 of them with response cards, they are pretty simple, with a shell on them and we are printing them ourselves.
Too me invitations are not important, people just throw them away anyway, so we want to spend money on other things for our weddig day.
they will do just fine.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
