Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Hey Guys,

I just wanted to let you all know that I have almost finalised all my wedding plans with Fabio and found out something you might be interested in. The chavari charis are available for $15 however this is only for the Wedding Ceremony not the Reception. I guess that no one had asked for them for both before so Fabio is looking into it for me but I would assume that if they allow me to use them for both, they will probably charge me more.

Also, I know that some of you have had issues with the Karisma planners but I have to tell you that I think Fabio has been great. I am still 38 days away from leaving for my trip and I know most, if not all of my details and have the updated detail sheets from him with all the pricing for my specific requirements.

So now its just a matter of hitting the gym and writing my vows. :-)

Good Luck to all of you planning for your big day!

Hey Jenni!

They actually changed my wedding time to 4pm because of the judge...so I think we are good :-)

I have to say that Fabio is a VERY patient man with all of these BRIDES questions. I think it is great that we can possibly avoid asking him the same questions, so I am posting my questions and answers from him in the last week:

We have between 30-40 people what are our wedding reception location choices? For a group of 40 people your options for a reception dinner are: The beach or one of our Salons. If you have 30 or less you can host a private dinner at Sienna restaurant, however only soft live music will be allowed.

As far as the DJ goes, should I download all Music to CD's and have the DJ just play the CDS? or Should I download all music to an IPOD and bring that? If we did the IPOD would we have to purchase an IPOD station with a DJ? Or is the IPOD station just for people who DO NOT HAVE a DJ's? If you hire a DJ: You can provide your CDs or Ipod song list and the Dj will play it for you, no need to pay for a docking station or Stereo system. If you do not hire a DJ; You can rent the Ipod docking station $150 or the Stereo System $250 and bring your own Ipod list.

If we choose to have the reception at the Central Plaza (Circle in middle of resort) Will we still need to get a dance floor? No you won't.

As far as the chairs with the BOWS go...if we choose to do white covers with bows for the ceremony do we have to pay for chairs twice for the reception? No, chairs & tables for the reception are included in the per person charge for a private event. See banquet kit for menu options and per person charges http://karismahotels.com/wedding/eve...t_kit_2009.pdf Bow colors: Are orange and yellow bows available? Yes, $5 usd each.

The chance for your to have the plaza or oval deck is subject to the following:

Hotel's capacity at the time.

Final head count for your group.

Final head count for the other group which means that we need to make sure that the area will be assigned to the wedding with more guest. Don't worry you'll have options. What we want to avoid is having a small group in an area that can accomodate a larger group.

Well hopefully this answers SOME questions!

Have a great weekend Girls!

More from Fabio... My wedding is in 30 days and we're still resolving many of the preliminary details.

For flower bouquets selection, please visit the follwoing link Category Bouquets - List of products - Weddings in Cancun & Riviera Maya by Lomas Travel please keep in mind that any of the bouquets listed for a value of $50 usd can be selected as your Bride's bouquet included in yoru package, just simply let me know which one you want.

A stereo system with a microphone and speaker system is included for the ceremony only. No additional charge. Feel free to bring yoru own songs for the ceremony in CD or Ipod format.

Color options are upon request, you can always decide on your location once onsite. Keep in mind that if you wish to add flower decorations onsite you willnot have enoughtime to order Orchids, Colored calla lilies and other premium flowers.

Let me know if you have any other questions, thanks!

Hi Beachbride :) Thank you for replying. I changed my time to 4p. I was assured that there would still be some day light for pics after the wedding. I actually recently switched my venue to Azul Fives. Unfortunately there are very few of us so I am always on this thread for the great insights and info.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
