Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

and I did also ask whether by having a party on a beach we can have a party for as long as possible (some of my guests can dance till the next morning), and the answer was pretty much no.

I suppose it could bother some guests that are staying close to the ocean, but then I wonder: Tiffany answered me that we can dance and have our reception at the same location, but having between 60-70 guests, we only have Beach, Roof Garden, Zocalo cocktail terrace, ballroom to choose from. Zocalo seems tight as it is. So what happens if we picked Zocalo for dinner? Are we moved for the dancing to the beach - including the tables and chairs?

That is so nice of you to share your vases. Please keep us updated on shipping these down there. I find it very interesting how some of use are going to get all of our stuff down there.

thanks for sharing

You may ask how far in advance we should ship them, if we should put ATTN: to (one of them), should we put our names somewhere on the boxes so they know who they belong to, etc....

I sure do appreciate it!

P.S. If there are any other brides who will be there the same time as us (we will be there 4/29-5/7) and would like to use our centerpieces, let me know. You are more than welcome....let me know and I can send or post pics of what they will look like.
Thanks,
Tracy
I was told when I put down my deposit in October that we weren't allowed to ship anything to the resort ahead of time. The issue came up because my FMIL is a florist and wanted to know when and to who we could ship decorations to. I was told (by Nancy) that they don't want to be responsible for storing and securing things sent down especially given the number of brides they have during certain times. I hope you get a different answer than I did-if you do let me know! I had resigned myself to trying to find things for OT bags and centerpieces at local markets while I am down there and paying for what the resort could provide if I didn't find anything. I even thought about shipping it to myself right before I leave home for the resort but that seems like it would be a gamble to me. I will be there six days before the wedding, but I have never had good luck with international shipping.

I was told by my TA that Fabio had said you can't ship anything down ahead of time, due to customs etc. Maybe Paula will get you a diff. answer when she is down there, if she does can you also foward the answer to me, I would love to ship things down ahead of time but if we can't then I am going to have to relie on my BMs

I am planning on asking that question at the site visit. However, I asked Fabio before about bring our own stuff down and this is what he said:

If we wanted to add a personal touch to the reception or
ceremony can we fly in our own candles or other additional items?

Yes you may bring your own items, please keep in mind:

No pre-shipments are allowed, please arrange for the items to arrive with you or your group.

Please be advised that all décor items must be ready to be set up. If assembly is necessary our onsite coordination team could apply a fee for décor.[/b]

HI, wanted to know if you ended up picking this resort as we have the same wedding date! Exciting, I know that they only allow 2 weddings a day at the resort, how many people are attending your wedding and what time are you having it? Ours is booked for 5 pm so excited!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
