Nice job updating the list Jenny. There have been a lot of new additions lately sooooo....

welcome3.gif everyone. My name is Wendy. I'd like to suggest that you take some time to read through all the posts on this thread since they contain a lot of information and links to even more information. relief.gif Since you already know this is a new resort, you should expect that they will be working out details (and kinks) as they prepare for and experience more weddings. We all still have a lot of questions so it's vital that we share information that is fairly credible (ie. from Karisma personnel, Lomas, TA's etc.) A comforting factor is that we're getting married at a Karisma resort and weddings at their other resorts are like clock-work so it shouldn't take them much time.

Good luck during planning and on behalf of everyone, we look forward to your posts.

Thanks for adding me to the list :)

I have a question that I am hoping someone can answer.

Do you know if the SKY Wedding Package is $1700 when you are already qualifying for the free (sweet) wedding package, or is it $1700 plus the purchase of a silver or gold package? I'm sort of confused by their positioning.

Thx!

Hey All!

Thank you for adding me to the list JHarwood2Be! smile03.gif

I also have questions about the SKY package...I want to do it, but haven't seen ANY details on what it looks like, images, etc. Has anyone come across any information o the net regarding this? I am concerned about making a decision to pay more for something I know nothing about...

Polina & jennik13 - I can't wait to meet up with you guys!

I was wondering if anyone understands the whole wedding photo packages. I got the gold package for the wedding which includes 36 photos, but we also will need extra time with the photographer and it says to get extra time you need to purchase a package. Do we need to purchase another package? I am so confused!pokestick.gif

Well, it depends on the vendor. If you notice, each of the 4 offered photographers have different prices for their packages. My fiance and I crossed off the ones we didnt like and chose between the 2 we did like by comparing the packages between the 2, i.e. how long they are there, how many photos, album, CD, etc. We ended up choosing Mexican Wedding Photos and are trusting they will be great. It is just the two of us, no guests, so we dont think we will need the full 3 hours? we asked Nancy to find out if they could customize for a party of 2. She is getting back to us. If not, we will have a LOT of pics!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
