I actually haven't been given a quote yet....we aren't getting married till july 2010. The Wedding Holiday said approx. $1600-1800 all inclusive for one week...haven't asked about 3 days yet, but wiill soon. I'll see if i can get more exact numbers and i'll post them when i find out. For those of you who said you got quoted around $500 for 3 nights, what does it come to with air fare?

My mom just booked, it came to $1500 for 5 days with airfare from NJ (connecting flight though). That's for single occupancy. (Room was about $200/night)

My FI and I booked just our room (Jacuzzi Swim-up) for 6 days and it was $2200 no airfare.

Our TA is quoting Jacuzzi Suite (no swim up) double occupancy at $325/night and Jacuzzi swim-up double occ. at $366/night...

Hi Ladies,

Hopefully I'll be joining this forum soon. Our TA sent in our paperwork this past Friday, so we're just waiting on our confirmation for April 11, 2009. Fingers crossed, because I had my hopes up about the Paradisus and read their 60+ page thread, just to find out that we couldn't get anything close to our dates desired sad.gif But I'm relieved because this Resort is soooo much better! Everything happens for a reason. pinkie.gif

I've been reading about the prices you'all have been quoted and we've been quoted $1580 per person for 5 nights (including transfer, taxes, airfare from KC).

Sorry if I missed it but what were the other brides in late March/April quoted?? I know the prices drop quite a bit as you get into May and later. But I felt ours were still a little high. And did your quotes include travel insurance?

Thanks,

Erika

Hello All,

My fiance just found this forum yesterday and we are so happy!! We are getting married at the new resort on November 8, 2008 and I think we are the first wedding! After reading all of your posts we are bit nervous about the lack of planning we have done so far. The photographer for instance...we were under the impression from our TA at DestinationWeddings.com and Fabio at the resort that we would just be able to use him no matter what. However, it appears that we might be in some big trouble because I have not lined him up yet!!! Just 8 weeks away....we might be having our friends and family take our photos!! smile105.gif Help! Does anyone have any advice?

We were told that we are to show up 3 days early and all of the arrangements will be made on the spot. Am I under the correct impression from all of these posts that I was given incorrect information?

I would be happy for any information anyone might have. Being that we are the first, I assume there will be more flaws then the rest of you but that is the chance we took to be at such a nice resort. Our fingers are crossed that all of the information they are releasing about the building being ahead of schedule is correct!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
