Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

I am not an Azul Bride but I am having my honeymoon there in Nov. We are having a nonresort wedding so we are staying at a different hotel for the first few days but right after the wedding we are spending a few days at the Azul Sensatori. I will be there Nov 20ish. My TA just took a trip there about a month ago and said the place is unbelievable. She highly recommended it. We are big beach people and she said the beach there was great. I will post pics and review as soon as I go :)

I'm so excited to hear how everything goes once the resort opens! And I'm very happy to hear about the nice beaches.

If someone doesn't mind sending me the spreadsheets too, that would be great!

I'm confirmed for June 5, 2009, but couldn't figure out how to add my name/date to the current list.

Just FYI...

I received group rates for the weekend of May 15, 2009

$380/night.

Did anyone get better? I wonder if they are up for negotiation?

Also, did anyone get a flight/hotel package? I always find that they are cheaper than booking separate. If so, where? plane.gif

Thank you!

Jenni

Thanks for stopping in! That's great to hear from your TA. Be sure to report back to us how it all went.

Look at post 212, I just posted last week. There really isn't too much info/reviews of Royale Photo and Caribe Photo. There has been some talk lately of Mexican Wedding Photos. I think some girls may have just booked with them. Try to do a search. Claudia Photo is great, but her prices for Azul are $900 greater than any other resort. I'd rather pay the $500 then.

I think $380/night double occupancy is about the going rate for the lowest room category. If anyone else has lower, please let us know!

Thanks for adding me, Jenny!

My TA is quoting right around $360/night double occupancy for the week of June 1, 2009. She has been great to work with, her name is Susan and she's with Berman Travel. She's also including transfers for my guests which makes it worth booking through her. Their website is Berman Travel Honeymoons, Destination Weddings, Reservations and they even have some videos of Sensatori on their site.

Hope that helps!

I'm working on the photographer thing right now, I'm basically stalking Fabio so I can I get approval for an outside vendor. I'll keep you posted.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
