Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Planning was somewhat hectic in the beginning. It took almost a month (this was back in Feb, 200cool.gif to hear back from the resort re: when they were going to start doing weddings. After finally receiving that good news things began to take shape. We are using Destinationweddings.com and they are fantastic. I highly rec. them, esp. Joani Traver. She has been planning my wedding and has been really great about communication with me.

Hi Amy,

I checkout that site and they advertise the 3 day trip for guests a lot. Are you doing this at all? I know if I could offer the trip for 1000 or less for 3-4 days, then more people could definitely go! Also, do you know if they handle weddingmoons, or just eloping to a resort but still wanting a ceremony there for just you two?

Thanks!

Hi JHarwood2Be:

No I haven't set up an appointment with anyone yet. We booked our trip and then became very intersted in Azul Sensatori and now realize that it is very close to the opening. Now we wished we had booked it later, but hopefully someone will be able to meet with us. I filled out an application and am also going to call tomorrow to try to get someone so that I can set up an appointment. I have emailed, but don't know if I am emailing the right person. Does anyone have a good email address or phone number to set up an appointment for the site visit?

I am also looking at Eurostar Blue Tulum and Ana y Jose Beach club. Both of those are farther away from the airport, so that's a con for those two. Can't wait to go visit and see the places.

Fabio is our offsite Co. and it usually takes him some time to get back to me but I did just receive our exel worksheet breaking everything down by cost and time so I have a better idea of how the day will flow. We meet the onsite co. on 8/13 in the am. I will also be having all of my hair and makeup trails done that day.

I would be happy to email you our wedding timeline that I sent Fabio if it helps answer some questions for you.

Hi Amy,

Would you mind sending me the timeline/spreadsheet? trayce2222@yahoo.com On the spreadsheet, is that where you got to pick all of your extras? I have my list made out, but if you have it all in a spreadsheet that would be so helpful! I am also booking everything through destinationweddings.com and I am so glad we are using them. Another friend of mine used them and they just got married at the RIU Palace RIviera Maya.
Please let me know how you like the hair and make-up! Thanks so much!!cheesy.gif

Wow there are so many of us now so please make sure to update the list that Jenny started.

TA Jennifer just became certified as a Karisma Resort specialist. I asked that she visit our thread and help answer our questions.

For those of you who have not secured a TA, she's got a great offer. (I requested that she post that offer here as well).

In the meantime...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
